Re: Hamilton vs Schumacher and their contemporaries (split from Official Hamilton Thread)

But that wasn't the point of the post, which was to highlight Schumacher's contribution to Mercedes's success today, that team building trait which Hamilton (or anyone else) doesn't hold a candle to. Only two people in F1 history are this instrumental in building dominant teams more than once - one...

I thoroughly enjoyed the MotoGP, but I was very worried there was going to be a very serious accident a few times. It's great to see the Ducatis and Suzukis doing well again.

Re: Hamilton's Sportsmanship (split from Bahrain 2021 Race Thread)

AJ, I can't help but think you're missing some key points here. Morality is rarely black and white - lying is always wrong, yes? I've heard stories of the police lying to bereaved relatives, telling them their loved ones died instantly when in reality they were in agony for a prolonged period of ti...

Interesting race. Max should have won this, yet threw it away after forgetting the lesson learned in Texas. Presumably the turn 4 nonsense will be discussed till the camels come home again, but that was really not the way to hand Mercedes a win. Very impressed by Tsunoda, happy to see another Japane...

Say what you will about the country, the Bahrain track is beautiful at night. To each their own i guess. It looks dull to me. The cars do not look particularly fa...

I like it, even though I regret not seeing the Renault name in F1 anymore. Seen from the rear quarter, the French tricolour stands out better than from the side, while the blue just has to be there. I think sunshine will make the car look better than the studio lights.

Whether Hamilton will ever tell us how confident he was in signing for Mercedes remains to be seen, but it does seem to have been much lower-risk than Ricciardo's, or JV's or Emmo's. I'd regard Hamilton's decision to move to Mercedes as a lower risk version of Schumacher's move to Ferrari. Mercedes...

The 'all of the above' option is missing from the poll.

If I have to restrict myself to voting for only one, it would be Webber. I would really have liked to see how Red Bull would have reacted to a Mark Webber world championship.

Barrichello is a very good second choice, as is Ralf.
