Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
Obviously for 2021 but obscurely you don't get punished for the year you broke the rules, a car can be disqualified for being a mm out of tolerance but not a team for breaking the budget cap, we will argue what difference did it make, what difference does a mm make? For me, I keep saying they are t...

Re: 2025 Brazil Grand Prix Race Thread
Yeah he was weaving his car but they penalised Hamilton for not being able to avoid him. Look, you come up with these absurd and easily disprovable stuff when it comes to Lewis, and then act all high-and-mighty when people dismiss your comments for being a (blind) Lewis fan. It just isn't possible ...

Re: 2025 Brazil Grand Prix Race Thread
Given how they jumped aside for Verstappen and given how marginally Verstappen came out ahead of Piastri after his last stop, the fact alone that Lawson behaved against Piastri like against any other competitor (in contrast to Verstappen) cost enough time to switch positions. Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
Well said. Red Bull's breech was supposed to result in "severe" consequences and quite possibly a disqualification for the season, if you saw Ross Brawn's response when asked the question. NONE of that happened and they were slapped with an absurd fine that didn't even count against the following y...

I find it hard to believe that under double yellow flags you are allowed to reduce the gap to the driver in front down to nothing Well, why don't you look it up then? Or better yet, let me help you: Double Waved Yellow Flag: Any driver passing through a double waved yellow flag marshalling sector m...

Then your thinking is counterfactual. ;) How much time do you think RB cost Piastri and benifited Max ? Lawson was a moving chicane IMO he was on 1 stop and Piastri did not even wait for turn 1 he overtook him in sector 2 itself. Hadjar was on a two stop but not sure what impact he had on either of...

Re: 2025 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread

Exactly. The first (did not follow proper procedure) is difficult without any insider witness. - I personally believe they (Mosley, Ecclestone, and co) did not follow proper procedure. However, I doubt there is hard evidence to proof this. This - contested - Ecclestone interview won't do the trick....

The avenues available at the time were the same ones available to the FIA less than a year later: investigate the matter and take action. Mosley described the problem as having no proof, but that is precisely what an investigation is for. We still don't know what the avenues were at the time, unles...

Yes, you asked for this, but I am confident I did not promise anything. And, since this is a rather unique case, it is most likely not rooted in precedent. But I did find this interesting ruling, although it may have been overturned on appeal (to be sure. I did not search for it). https://www.norto...

If there was a wall and Verstappen had to take the corner, I think it is likely he would have ended up worse than fourth with a corner entry as compromised as where he chose to position himself. This "all the rights to keep his line" is not really helpful or true. The cars race with each other and individual racing lines interact with others. I don't see how yellow flags are enough to be safe enough for marshals to come onto a run off area with teck pro barrier. Bianchi was killed under double yellows that's why the VSC was introduced in the first place, safety pushed out of the way for the benefit of Verstappen, the Marshall's can't be considered to be in a safe place. It seems like a no brainer VSC, no? Sainz' car is sticking out, up to 2 metres out from the barriers and potentially on fire meaning marshals may need to get around the back of it to extinguish the flames in direct line of cars at racing speeds. https://i.ibb.co/VYzrsYzP/Screenshot-2025-10-27-09304...
