Re: The Official Lewis Hamilton thread
It's interesting that a lot of pundits have praised Rosberg's consistency as an element of his championship win this year. Certainly it's true that that helped him but it's rather hollow praise when you realise that Hamilton scored one more podium than Nico over the course of the season and finished...

Re: 2015 Monaco GP Race Thread
Mercedes made a major error but Lewis bears part of the blame for the loss. He could have easily rejected the call to pit but didn't. Oh please, surely even Lewis haters can not put blame at Lewis on this one. The call to pit itself isn't Hamilton's fault but him being the driver in the lead and kno...

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2015 Monaco Grand Prix
I put Verstappen because I think he was very unlucky with his accident. Grosjean braked much earlier than normal and caught him out, but I don't think it was a reckless move, just unfortunate. Up until then he was the most exciting driver on track. Agree, was quite aggressive and willing to race. I...

Re: 2015 Monaco GP Race Thread
Imagine if Lewis had been the only one not to stop (he was in first position so they didn't know what the others were going to do) and had been overtaken because of the old tyres? In hindsight we know the others didn't pit but go easy on Merc, these can't be easy decisions. Except for with Rosberg ...

Re: Is Hülkenberg overrated?
For any driver in his position to score so metronomically is surely a testament to his quality - after all, the only driver to score more consistently this season has been Alonso (who isn't in a midfield car) and we know his talent. I also doubt think there is any credit to the 'reliable but not spe...

Re: Hungary Merc Team Orders: Did Hamilton make the right ca
Hamilton made the right call for his own title prospects. But I dunno, team orders suited him at Malaysia 2013 and now they don't. Bit rich I think I think you'll find Hamilton was actually quite apologetic about Malaysia. Those orders came from Brawn and both drivers obeyed his orders. Even if tha...

I don't think anything failed for Lewis, maybe his car is just a bit more rear biased than it should and he pushed too hard Not seeing it, that car spun exactly as if a brake failed. He hadn't stuck a wheel on the grass, so why would he spin so violently unless one of the brake's failed? Unless of ...

When the electrics failed, the rear brakes had to take over the load the KERS was doing, namely provide some braking force. If you are in a race and the electrics failed in such a manner, it doesn't take a genius to connect the dots and realize that brakes that were already on the limit would be as...

Nico's having good luck this season, in comparison didn't he have pretty bad luck in 2012 and I'm sure he had a few dnfs in 2013 compared to Lewis. True that Rosberg did have more bad luck than LH last year - although Silverstone slightly altered that balance. It's just extra unlucky for Hamilton t...

Where's the sense in having a number one driver? Unofficially it'll be Button, he's the experienced ex WDC, but until they're at a point to fight for championships there's no real need to appoint a #1. It's not as if having a #1 has done Ferrari or Red Bull any favours this year. And Mercedes, who ...

I'd prefer formula where best chassis wins the championship, instead of best engine tbh, it gives many teams huge disadvantage, and i'm not Vettel fan at all !!, but it is really unjust towards Adrian Newey that his skills are useless, since he buys certain engine.
