Re: Rank the Drivers Midseason Performance

The fact is Perez is new to the team and you've said numerous times that drivers take time to adapt to a new car and you're suddenly choosing to ignore it. Bottas has also had a poor season if you think he's having a good season you're choosing to ignore Imola and Baku. That's another facts You may...

I like these polls, as collectively, they are never a million miles away.

Looking at the scores and positions, I can't disagree too much tbh. Had a slightly different order, but those that are different are close.

Re: Is Ricciardo done?

Fine margins. If he'd been one metre wider at turn one, he'd have won yesterday. That was that. Bottas ultimately made turn 1 a lottery, just sheer luck where you ended up. Ricciardo very nearly ended up the benefactor. Even Stroll seemed to unleash his own carnage as a result of trying to avoid th...

Hamilton had a super drive but... with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in the championship taken out of contention at turn one - his car was in a class of 1.

Hard to look beyond Ocon or Alonso for DotD.

I expect Hamilton to win this. I can't help but feel Verstappen had to make hay when the sun was shining. The way the luck has fell has seen that not happen - with neutral luck he could have been 50pts clear.

Mercedes and Hamilton are always stronger in the 2nd half of the season.

Thing with a time penalty, if this is true, say 5 secs taken at the first pit stop - he had 5 seconds to spare.

It probably hurts him more waiting to the end.

So Mercedes told Hamilton more raining was coming, another fail for the strategy team with a win thrown in the bin. Been a huge few weeks for the championship.

Fantastic race and for a supposed "boring" track, Hungary delivers again. Great to see another new winner in Ovon.

What Ricciardo is doing in that Mclaren is a joke.

Half the front runners out & he still finishes out of the points almost 30 sec behind a damaged Red Bull.

He’s got serious problems in that car.
He also has a damaged car.

I tried to like Formula E, but I just can't.

Cars look clumsy around the toy tracks they usually race on and the racing often is clumsy as a result. As a series it just seems to lack drama, or X factor.

There hasn't really been any path for Ricciardo to ever find himself into a championship challenging seat. No path to Mercedes, or the 17/18 Ferrari. Given the high speed nature of the corner, it isn't somewhere that would usually be an overtaking opportunity regardless of space, being alongside and what - If you put a wheel up the inside there, you should be yielding if it clearly isn't going to stick or you're not winning the apex. Straight line speed will be down to drag.
