Missed that Alonso got a penalty til now. Very confused. Is the art of slowing down in a corner to reduce the car behind’s momentum dead? Or is it just stewards bashing Alonso for the sake of it again?

Did they change the rule on wet weather tyres? I thought as long as race officials declare it’s a wet race, drivers don’t need to pit for two distinct dry tyres. Now it seems you have to use two distinct soft tyres if you did not use wet tyres.

Not surprised, but horrible news to wake up to. There was something clearly not right at Alpine with Alonso. Either Alonso saw it coming, or was pushed out.

At least with Alpine there was some hope they would fight for wins. I don't know at all about Aston Martin
