Re: Budget Cap Breach Rumours

There should be full transparency over how they went over and what they were allowed to write off. I don't see why where they spent the money matters. You have a budget to aim for. You can meet it. You can come under it but under no exceptions should you be allowed to go above it. I don't buy their...

Re: Budget Cap Breach Rumours

I'm seeing some jokes on twitter about Red Bull's breach and food. Can anyone explain? They've allegedly gone over by paying sickness and catering costs... That's the angle they're trying anyway. 2021 is the season that keeps giving a bad taste in the mouth. The 2m they have allegedly gone over by ...

Re: Mercedes Lodge Multiple Protests Against Result

I'm the opposite. I hope they do drag it on and don't care about public optics. It appears they've been wronged by someone who should be an impartial party handling the rules. They made up their own rules on the spot and Mercedes have become direct victims of the actions. I'd fight every inch for th...

Re: Abu Dhabi 2021 - How has it left you feeling?

Gutted and devastated this morning. I thought a night sleep would make me feel better but it's just made me feel a bit bitter. I had given up anu hopes of Lewis winning the WDC this year quite a while ago whilst Max and Red Bull looked too much to beat. Then slowly the points started getting closer ...

Re: Max Verstappen signs new Red Bull contract to 2023

With Max being locked into Red Bull for a few more years, Charles at Ferrari and I presume Mercedes will keep Lewis to at least 2021 and maybe 2/3 there is the chance that one of those 3 have made the right choice. However I feel now that in all of this there is absolutely 0 chance Danny made the r...

I think the one saving grace of NowTV is that you're able to have it on 5 devices so I rarely missed a session the last two seasons as I could have the Friday practice sessions on my iPad whilst it was on my desk at work.

Re: Now TV coverage in UK for 2020

The trick with Now TV is to go through their online cancellation after one month. It will automatically offer you 3 months for £60 (£20 per month). Very familiar with the cancellation dance! I often get the movies and entertainment for a fraction of the cost. Hoping to have proper sky for the new s...

I'm going with Charles. Should Vettel count? As he wouldn't be a new WDC. Funny thing I was just checking to see how much younger Vettel is than Hamilton to find it's Hamilton's birthday today. :) Indeed. He hit the big 35! Even though he is older than me it doesn't seem that long ago watching his ...

Re: Now TV coverage in UK for 2020

I've done that deal the last two years. 2018 it was about £160 (it may have been even cheaper still) and for 2019 it was about £190. I'm hoping we'll be in our new property by then and I can get Sky properly as it is expensive using NowTV and it is only in 720p and capped at 24fps. Though if sky is ...

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2019 Italian Grand Prix

For me Hamilton and the Renault boys. Hamilton drove an exceptional race keeping very close to Charles for the entire duration until he was no longer able to. When Bottas passed Hamilton it was clear to see how good of a job Hamilton was doing as Bottas just wasn't able to hang as close. The Renault...

Re: Albon versus Verstappen

Kvyatt sounds kinda salty to me. It doesn't matter how many laps Albon was stuck behind slower cars. What matters is that he finished ahead of them (all of them). it would have been easy for him to try to do too much in that race but he was extremely composed and professional and, like I mentioned ...
