Nope but who turned their strategy into a winning one? Vettel. Webber had his chance and blew it by getting stuck behind RoGro for the entire first stint. Uhm, is that a joke? Webber was told to maintain a gap behind Grosjean. WEB > VET? Yup, and also: ROS > HAM RAI > GRO Interesting qualifying ses...

I think that giving Europe more representation doesn't do anything towards gaining interest from other contintents, whether that's in relation to future teams or drivers.

Re: A couple of Firsts for Vettel?
If Vettel's making a conscious effort to not do the 'finger pose,' then I'm actually thoroughly disappointed. Thoroughly. The fact that our four time world champion would (presumably) feel the need to do away with their long-time signature pose just annoys the life out of me. His pose annoys me jus...

Re: A couple of Firsts for Vettel?
Don't know if this has been discussed anywhere yet or has been noticed but I did notice 2 things during the podium ceremony:- 1. When Vettel was celebrating, he wasn't displaying his most obvious gesture (Finger) but was keeping his finger clenched in his fist & raising his hand. 2. After multiple ...

Vettel for becoming the 4th time WDC. How do you state that someone is 'driver of the day' for achieving something they did over the period of a season? Vettel wins 'driver of the season' hands down, but in my opinion is not the rightful 'driver of the day' today simply for wrapping up a championsh...

Will be a nice addition to Sebs mantelpiece. For sure! But I still feel in my waters that Bernie and the FIA will not let the celebrations happen this weekend - they need to keep the illusion of 'close' competition in F1 alive!! I think that if they had intended to do that, they wouldn't have waite...

Got no problem with it! They are all doing it, so level playing field. We will see this with all the Tilke tracks. They may all be doing it, but does it not bother you that there's no respect for track limits anymore on these Tilke tracks? The lower formulae drivers are not too impressed by it beca...

Re: Porsche Supercup: The Petition in honor for Sean
I remember when Simoncelli died they honoured him by putting on a cracker of a race at the final race of the season. Much more fitting than gifting him a win (which he'd undoubtedly have gotten if he'd have lived) imo. I don't mean to sound rude, but why do you think Simoncelli would have been gift...

Loophole exploitation is a conventional method of car and technical design in Formula One. Why's there such a problem with it? The designers are doing exactly what they're employed to do, which is to make the car perform as well and run as fast as it possibly can. Those that are exploiting these loo...

The way he stood up to Vettel in the latter half of 2011 and made races slightly more interesting was just spectacular to see, and something I probably won't forget. Singapore and Japan specifically..

A little justified I think. Rosberg's standing up for the factory workers of several teams of which Seb took aim at and even brought their work ethic into question. Working hard does not always reap rewards, it doesn't work like that. If only these two could be the ultimate title rivals next season....

Just watched Aussie V8 Supercars today and realised how joyful it is to watch motor racing when the championship leader is virtually nowhere (DNFx2 and 13th). So in saying that, I'd love to see a Vettel-less top 10 just to really spice things up.
