All the money in the world and still looks at ways to avoid paying tax - tax that amongst other things pays for medical care for his fans.

Re: Toto: Rosberg/Hamilton issues might force line-up change

But surely Merc are living in dreamland if they think they can put two competitive drivers (on an equal footing) in a championship winning car and not expect tension. And the spats that have happened between their drivers result mostly in sulking. Childs play in comparison to what has happened betw...

Re: Toto: Rosberg/Hamilton issues might force line-up change

Solution - remove the driver numbers from the cars, give them both identical helmets with dark visors then no one knows which drivers have won but the constructor gets the points. Ok that's extreme but Merc have paid a fortune to get to the forefront of the sport and having done so they should be re...

Re: Toto: Rosberg/Hamilton issues might force line-up change

I get the sense Tonto is fed up with the way both drivers react to losing. They complain, sometimes make barbed comments aimed at the team and generally provide a negative element to what should be a positive occasion (a one-two). In a normal race team that would be bad enough but as part of a corp...

Re: Is it time for the end of F1?

The situation at Mercedes is a perfect example of where the sport is letting down and hence losing it's fans. The crowns are all won, the drivers want to race freely, the fans want to see a free race but because it does not suit the interests of the big business it's never going to happen. F1 is now...

Re: The Official NICO ROSBERG thread

Hamilton went on record recently saying that in getting the three titles he's achieved everything he wanted and anything else is just a bonus. In the same way as he implies that Nico is beating him now because he's taking it easy because the season is won (and we all believe that - right) he's getti...

That throttle failure in Russia as well as the"gust of wind" in USA still annoy me a lot. In Russia, I have little doubt he would have won that race barring any mishaps. I dont have the answers on how F1 needs to right itself but F1 fully needs to understand that their product as presented today is awful, simply awful. If I had to gues the way forward I'd say let the people who live and breath racing make the rules and formula. Keep the car companies 100% away. Pre...

Yes but I think they screwed it badly; to acknowledge after Spa that the engine had 2 laps of full power left - which would have got him through Q3 - then ignore the same data two weeks later is just bizarre. They knew the power unit was very close to failing so why on earth did they not settle for ...

Mercedes Engine Lifespan

Did anyone else hear the interview on Sky with Mr Wolff re Lotus engine modes. After the last two races I think we can scratch Lewis from that trio; the last two races have seen an alarming dip in his form which he will need to address over the break as he cannot keep relying on luck to keep scuppering Rosburg's campaign.
