Re: F1 Gossip/Rumour/Inside news Thread

F1TV is trying out another female presenter presumably to replace Laura Winter. Folks just bring back Rosanna Tennant. I don't care if she is at least half a head taller than any of the drivers and the rest of the broadcast crew. She was knowledgeable and engaging and not at all hard to look at.

It annoys me that there is a "full wet" tyre option, yet the FIA apparently does not want the teams to use those tyres.
Tires made for conditions that the FIA thinks are not appropriate for racing?

Yeah, I know it doesn't make sense to me either.

I also find him to be entertaining. He is animated and enthusiastic. I just wish he was a little easier to understand.

Problem with Davide Valsecchi

I have been listening to Davide Valsecchi for a while now and always find that it takes almost my full concentration to parse out what he is saying about the racing in his comments. His very heavy Italian accent is a bit much. I am a citizen of the US and don't need for the man to speak with a mid-w...

Don't think I would want to be Carlos going into turn 1 tomorrow. I could very easily see a repeat of turn 1 at COTA last week. You know that Max will be throwing the car down the inside past the apex of the turn.

Good race but I was not enjoying listening to Davide Valsecchi before and after the race.

We need someone who speaks a more neutral version of English. Davide's energetic delivery plus a very thick Italian accent requires more than a bit of concentration to get all of what he is trying to say.

Dangerous driving on Max's part and massive under-performance by Checko in a top tier car all weekend.

As an American, the playoff systems in Nascar and NHRA has pretty much ruined both of those series for me. In league sports not every team plays every other team during a season. In F1, WEC, Indycar, & IMSA every team contests with every other team at each event if they show up. There is no need to ...

Very good performances from Hamilton, Sainz, and Norris today. Perez outdid himself against Verstappen who did merely okay on his first and second runs of Q3. Leclerc continues to disappoint, what is going on with him?
