Re: Alternatives to Apple TV for 2026?
I still had commercials for the race broadcast itself, but none after the formation lap. I am still watching the podium ceremony so I don't know if they will come back with more at the end.

Re: Alternatives to Apple TV for 2026?
My F1TV subscription expired after the Chinese Gran Prix and I transitioned over to the Peacock/Apple bundle for the Japanese Gran Prix. This gets me all of the IMSA & F1 session for the rest of the year. I do have to say that after a number of years of Ad free broadcasts on F1TV and before that on ...

Re: Alternatives to Apple TV for 2026?
I don't do subscribed TV services (beyond my normal Cable TV Service), so I think subscribing to Apple TV to watch the F1 races is out. Are there any alternatives available to we fans in the US? There's VPN ( Very Probably No ) way to watch it legally, but I'm sure you have a TORRENT of other quest...

2nd impression.....the pass-pass back is just silly. kind of hard to believe they didn’t listen nearly three years ago, when at least one team said they will run out of power. not sure what they can do, but somebody needs to figure something out. how quickly will this era end if nothing changes ? s...

The first 12 laps were absolutely amazing. There have been many F1 SEASONS this century with only a fraction of on track passes for the lead that we had in those 12 laps. 2021&2022 had a total of three on track passes for the lead COMBINED by my calculation. Yes, drivers will figure out how to bala...

Re: 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Race Thread
I'm in the fun position of being happy whatever way the title goes. If Norris or Piastri win we get a new champion which is exciting and a good thing for F1. If Verstappen wins it means it's been a dramatic race and we get to witness one of the greatest championship victories of all time. Same here...

Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
Seems to me that if Max gets ahead of Lando, the smart thing to do is to clone Max's race. If Max pits then pit Lando the same lap. Copy his tire choice and tell Lando to hang just barely inside of DRS range of Max and to not let anyone get between you and Max . He is then a shoe-in for the WDC. La...

Re: 2025 Qatar Grand Prix Race Thread
If Max loses to Lando in either race, he is done.
Oscar not only has to pretty much win both races but he also needs to have other drivers between himself and Lando. Lando can cruise to the WDC by coming 2nd in both races regardless of what Oscar does.

Well, both Max and Lando made up a bit of ground on Oscar in Singapore today. Still neither made up enough to catch Oscar by the end of the year at this rate. It is going to be more than a bit disappointing to see the WDC decided with Lando and Oscar fighting for the last step on the podium instead ...

I predict an incident between Verstappen and Norris. Verstappen is frustrated, i am not sure how well he will handle this. But if he does finish 2nd, that will be seriously impressive.
