Re: Its Official: Sebastian Vettel to Aston Martin in 2021 (merged)

Will 2021 Aston Martin be at least equal to this year's Racing Point? I don't know. Based on their first three years (2016-2018) I expected Haas to be battling for podiums by now. Aston Martin certainly will have a competitive power unit. I don't see how they really go backward that much from this ...

I can see Vettel do well but cmmon we are talking about comparing him to Strol!!... it really wouldn’t make much of a difference .. I hope he doesn’t end up like a Kimi - happy with a paycheck and a car that will get a podium once a while ...uhm, how long are we going to have to wait for the Alfa R...

Re: 2020 Season - Driver Ratings

The Gasly hype is out of control on some of these rankings. A lot of people seem to be rating him as if he'd won the Italian GP under equal circumstances, when in fact he wouldn't have been in contention for even a podium if the race had run normally. He's been pretty good this year, but certainly ...

Well, he is going to have to look a lot better compared to Lance than he has compared to Charles.

Seems to be a bunch of folks wondering if Team Red is giving Seb the same kind of car they are providing to Charles.

So, where does this leave Hamilton? All the top teams are set for 2021, so if HAM wants to dicker for more money, where would he go if he doesn't stay at Mercedes? I think the Vettel, Riciardo and Sainz announcements now box HAM in at Mercedes where he now has fewer chips to bargain with. Not that ...

Carlos passed Kimi on lap 33 and was only about 6 seconds behind Pierre. I was surprised that he sat 1.5-2 seconds behind Pierre for so many laps after catching him.
