Re: Which drivers won't we see full-time in F1 again?

<t>I think Albon will probably end up back at Alpha Tauri at some point. He looks by far the most likely to get back into F1 full time. There's still an outside chance for Hulkenberg most likely back at Williams for 2022. <br/> <br/> I can't even imagine any of the others coming back. There are some...

Even taking away what happened at the capitol, there is absolutely no comparison. Trump pressured the Georgia secretary of state to "find him" 11,000+ votes. It's interesting, and encouraging IMO, to see high ranking Republican figures making some pretty damning statements against Trump in the wake of this. So, in short - he has demonstrated his talent in a lesser car. Well, lesser by some very lofty standards. Hamilton has never spent a season in a car incapable of winning a race on merit -- something that precious few other WDCs can say. The stats bear that out. Hamilton has won at least one race ev...

2 Republicans die and go to heaven.
They ask God if he'd answer one question.
"Of course," God says.
They ask how the Democrats rigged the election in 2020.
"It wasn't rigged," God replied.
Republicans look at one another and say, "This conspiracy goes higher than we thought!

There are some interesting little subplots here. Perez and Sainz, two drivers seen as midfield generals have chances to prove they can be more than that. Carlos Sainz had it all his own way at McLaren really. The team had pitifully low expectations when he arrived and he was up against a rookie team...

The turbo hybrid era has certainly been tough for Mercedes rivals. Ferrari and Red Bull have 17 wins each over these 7 seasons. There have only been two seasons in that period where it even looked remotely likely that we could see a non Merc world champion. Before this era, Ferrari had 20 consecutiv...

I think the fact that Albon was able to get onto the back of Hamilton suggests that the Red Bull was the quickest car in Abu Dhabi. The Merc lads were complaining of the car being unresponsive in certain corners losing time to the typically oversteery Red Bull.

Really, Racing Point should have wrapped this third place up by now, and credit has to go to McLaren for keeping it interesting. An overlooked aspect of this is the fact that Russell isn't an ideal fit for that Merc chassis as it is, and can't apply full brake pressure. But from a certain point of view, he got an opportunity that he didn't think would come this year, and proved a lot about himself. It sounds patronising, but in many ways that's more important than a race win. He's dramatically improved his negotiating position.
