Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

Could always counter with that rather cringy pic of Hamilton grinding up against a Rihanna at that festival a couple of years back... But please don't. I won't doubt that Hamilton has a fashion sense that I find baffling and bewildering. But I don't think most F1 fans, whether Hamilton fans o...

Well Aston Martin will be able to use the 2020 Merc rear end next year without eating into their development tokens. This bodes rather well for Vettel.

Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread

Obviously Kimi is just having a bit of fun with it, but the original comparison people are making between Hunt and Hamilton is so silly. I could show you several photos of Hunt wearing silly looking clothing. I'm not convinced romanticising alcoholism is ideal.

Re: Could next year be Vettel's final nail in the coffin?

Certainly Stroll getting the RP updates in Mugello while Perez did not might make Seb raise his eyebrow. That said I'm sure he won't have accepted any deal that made him play second fiddle.

I stopped following him a while ago, so I’ll take your word for it but I’ve seen enough photos of him hanging around with the most famous celebs in their fields to see a pattern emerging. Celebrity in 'taking photos with other celebrities' shocker. More on page 4. Lewis Hamilton has a variety of bu...

Re: 2020 Tuscan GP Race thread

An astonishing race really with last week's podium sitters all failing to finish for one reason or another. Bottas finally got the job done at the start, only to lose it shortly after the second start. The same old story for him I'm afraid. Hamilton just edges the decisive moments and seems to have ...

Hamilton, Alonso, Schumacher, Button, Raikkonen... They've all won multiple races in packages that weren't the fastest on the day. Seeing as literally every race many drivers beat people in faster cars (given that teammates don't all finish one after the other in a race we know that must be a fact)...

Re: Would you swap Perez for Vettel?

While his points tally doesn't reflect his performance, Perez has had a bit of a messy season. Qualifying hasn't always been great, and iffy starts have cost him big points. Perez should still have been retained to drive with Vettel IMO though, but realistically we all knew Lance was staying.

A very good move for both parties. A happier and more relaxed Vettel is still an extremely good driver. Aaron Martin clearly have big ambition, and a season alongside Vettel will allow them to make a decision on whether Lance has long term potential or if he needs to be jettisoned.

Vettel is the driver they will build the team around for the next few seasons. It's an amazing opportunity for Stroll to build his reputation, but I'd be absolutely astonished if Vettel doesn't handily outpoint him.

Bottas isn't bad, and I'm 99% certain he's better than Albon -- at least at this snapshot in time and their F1 careers. It's a really tricky one to judge today but I thought Sainz was strong throughout and a bit unfortunate not to win. I've gone Gasly, Ricciardo, and Raikkonen. Verstappen no doubt drove very well, but we're just kind of used to seeing him give near Bottas'. It's a crying shame that Ricciardo isn't in that second Red Bull.
