Re: Silly Season 2021
Red Bull or bust for Albon according to Horner, so sounds like Tsunoda will be driving for Alpha Tauri. I wonder what Red Bull do in 2022 if Tsunoda is beaten by Gasly and Albon struggles again. I guess sticking the car on pole has definitely sealed it for Tsunoda, I see Gasly and Tsunoda being a A...

Re: 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
Does anyone out there still doubt that Leclerc is a special talent after that lap? The Ferrari engine really isn't the one to have around here, but he's produced something rather special. His reward will likely be to watch other cars glide past him in the race though. Credit to George for achieving ...

Re: 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread
I hope Red Bull aren't going to use that fluke podium as an excuse to retain Albon. After the first stint, he was already too far behind (well over a pit stop) to influence Hamilton's strategy and assist Max's. Perez had an extremely strong weekend and was robbed by misfortune yet again.

Re: Calling it now: Hamilton's records will never be broken
At the age of 25, Fernando Alonso was a double world champion and had just usurped Michael Schumacher in a one on one title fight. At the age of 39, he's about to return to the sport still a two time world champion. At the age of 26, Sebastian Vettel was a four time world champion. He's now 33, havi...

Re: Is Hamilton ruining Max’s legacy?
Max has two main weaknesses. A lack of patience and a tendency to wallow in negativity. The lack of patience was evident today, and holding onto negativity was evident after qualifying where he was inexplicably crestfallen about his P2 instead of sensing a great opportunity. Fortunately, those weakn...

I went for the podium runners too. Leclerc an honourable mention for coming on strong when the drier line appeared. He's the kind of mirrored Lance Stroll: Mediocre in the wet, but immense in more drivable conditions. For Max this is like Mexico 2019. He's been immensely quick all weekend but poor d...

I think it's now finally fair to say that Joe Biden is the President-elect. He's roughly as likely to lose the vote as Lewis Hamilton is to lose the 2020 Formula One world championship. Crucially for the Republicans though, they are going to hold the Senate.

A seriously dangerous incident with Stroll unlapping himself under safety car conditions and not being far away from some marshalls. Why Perez? He benfited from qualifying poorly to be on the right tyre. Bottas was unlucky there, it would have been incredibly difficult for Hamilton to win if a "normal" race had played out without that damage. With Alfa Romeo confirming they will keep the same lineup, that almost certainly means Mick Schumacher at Haas along with another rookie. That along with the Williams news means unfortunately it makes it almost certain that at least one of Hulk and Perez will not get an F1 drive for 2021.
