Re: Bringing the sport to Disrepute

Spygate was the most harmful on this list. Paying a huge fine and hurting the sport in this fashion was the worst. I thought and this is my opinion that the reason why Martin W. took over was a direct result of spy gate.

To the original question I say yes they do. They manufactured a great engine, with some very powerful mapping software that helped RB win. The beauty of a MB or Ferrari is that they have no fear in a partner or customer trying to take more credit over wins or losses. F1 is great and I love being a p...

Re: Vettel move to Ferrari blocked by Alonso?

Alonso is the most pathetic two faced person I have seen..All this time he kept saying he would have no qualms and would invite Vettel to be his teammate while belittling his achievements while he was quietly plotting to keep him away. Calm down!! It's obvious you wouldn't invite a strong competito...

Individual components and assemblies are analyzed and tested. For instance, some engine manufacturer has a 2014 spec engine, transmission, and related drivetrain components on a dyno and are replicating racing not just one circuit, but the entire season. 2014 spec suspension components are on a 7 po...

The thing is, if Vettel was better in an average car, or if McLaren hadn't been so incompetent, or if Ferrari had suffered a 'normal' amount of failure and misfortune, all Alonso's perceived brilliance last year wouldn't have got him into the running. Even if we say Alonso was sublime, it still too...

Let teams test as much as they want but with no test team. so that will limit testing on track during the season just by staff alone. Do you mean that teams can test only on race weekends, at the track designated for the competition? They already do, in all the practice sessions. In fact, every lap...

The testing ban is the most screwed up rule in F1. so you can spend hundreds of millions of dollars on super computers/software have hundreds of developers running these systems which cost more than a mechanic for sure. Then have unlimited simulation testing on these computers but you cant go out on...

Honestly I'd hire Rory Byrne over Newey. Byrne matched speed with reliability years before Newey did in the early 00s. Every fast car Newey built between the early 90s and 2009 was weak with reliability bar the 92 Williams and the 98 McLaren, Byrne had consistent reliability and speed for years wit...

F1 needs an american entry in F1 . A series that touts itself as a world championship needs one of the biggest countries involved in it. Red Bull, SB did in fact pass under yellow Twice. Now on the Sauber with Kob. going into the pits you cant give back the place he took, however he could have been assessed a drive through or a time penatlty. Just goes to show the FIA is not on Ferrari payroll.
