That was poor by Hamilton. Just wondering if there really was an issue with his car like Toto said or has Rosberg just got the measure of him this weekend?

Re: 2016 German Grand Prix Practice Thread
Does anyone know if the engine Hamilton was using today is the same one for the whole weekend? Don't they normally change the engine for the sat/Sunday? I thought they normally use old engines for practice but might be wrong though. Yeah, you're right they normally do. I was just wondering because ...

Watching yesterday's GP2 start its almost worth taking a punt at starting from the pit lane. I don't know how engine allocation or penalties work. Could Hamilton take a new gearbox, engine etc to add to his cycle for the year if he did?
(Probably a stupid question I know)

I'm thinking Rosberg will get the jump tomorrow at the start OR have a DNF which would really open up the championship again, I'm hoping for the latter. At the moment it really is Rosbergs to lose.

Best of luck to Hamilton today. I'm away at a family event so will miss the race and have to watch the highlights later. I have no doubts in my mind Hamilton is the better driver than Rosberg but IMO if he doesn't get his head in game Rosberg is going to anialate him this year. Can anyone know why the mercs were so slow of the line, particularly Hamilton? Is it because of the extra warm up lap? I think I remember last year when they had to do a second warm up lap I think they burnt their clutch out (or something like that) or was it just a shi##y start.

Re: Toto: Rosberg/Hamilton issues might force line-up change
Ferrari famously fired Prost because he called their car a truck. I don't see why Mercedes would be afraid to do the same to Lewis if he keeps questioning them in public. Not saying they will, but I don't agree it would be a PR disaster as claimed above. They may well decide the negative publicity ...

Last race of the year, Hoping for classic as the last few races have been a bit of a borefest. Vettel could be entertaining tomorrow and hoping for a battle royale between Ham & Rosberg.
Gutted I won't be able to watch it until the evening, hoping for a Hamilton win though

Well as I stayed up to watch my girl, Ronda Rousy get a beating last night I'm hoping Hamilton can whoop some a$$ today. Judging by wolfs comments though the team are more concerned that Rosberg gets the points today to fend off vettel. I don't see Hamilton playing the team game though so this could...
