Re: Who are the BEST QUALIFIERS on the grid?
This never seems to happen in F1. Just because driver A beat driver B a certain number of years ago and now driver B is beating driver C, it doesn't necessarily mean you can simply rank the drivers. Take your nuance elsewhere! It isn't welcome here! In all seriousness, there is definite m...

Stroll - Stroll was quicker all weekend while Vettel it seems struggles to settle into the team but more disconcerting continues to make silly mistakes. However Vettel managed to score more points than Stroll albeit 5 penalty points on his license as opposed to Stroll's 1 WDC point. This bit in bol...

Re: Who are the BEST QUALIFIERS on the grid?
I am confused by the almost unanimous conclusion here that Max is the best qualifier on the grid. He has a total of 4 pole positions after 120 entries. He also has ten wins which says to me that that his race day performance is more than twice as good as his qualifying performance. Max did not take...

Re: Who are the BEST QUALIFIERS on the grid?
I do have to say that I am a little surprised at how close the gap between Max and Lewis based on the models/numbers, given the differing circumstances for large portions of their time together on the grid. I have to wonder whether there have been a reasonable number of races over the last 6/7 year...

Re: 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread
Should Honda/Red Bull be a bit worried? That’s three of their four cars having some sort of engine problem over the course of the weekend. Could be precautionary of course but brining the 2022 engine forward by a whole year was always going to be risky. Also, should we be taking what Marko says with...

Poker - what do you do if one driver gets knocked out in Q2 and the other Q3? Do you use both Q2 times or the Q2 time for the one who got knocked out and Q3 time for the other?

Hard to judge how good Ferrari are, but Sainz just seemed ok at best this race. He made a questionable move on Stroll where he literally rubbed his car on Strolls for several seconds while trying to recover from his bad launch. A bit of a gentle push and shove. hehe verstappen would rather have had a 5 second penalty and thought he could make that up had he stayed ahead. Which is incredibly unsporting of him. Must be a bit gutting for Max that Lewis goes off the track for most of the race then as soon as Red Bull mention it to Max, race control impose track limits eventually costing him the race! So, are they ignoring track limits again? Yep. Was announced its only being policed in practice/qualifying. It's pathetic. This is a sport that can DQ a car for having a piece of bodywork 1mm too big, but teams can gain significantly more of a time advantage by not sticking to the circuit. Although...
