Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix

I don't think 3rd place exceeds expectations really. The win was definitely possible. He certainly made it look possible. Only he and Max would have, probably. I think Max might have been more aggressive with Alonso even if Hamilton was languishing down in 10th or so. Could have resulted in the win...

Didn't Albon do this for Red Bull. Is there something in it that it's not allowed to be a current driver if yours?

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix

Hamilton had the pace to lap the entire field easily today. He really should have won. Didn't make it a walk in the park to pass cars though. And I get the impression that a lot of Ham's race pace today was down to him - his pace was fantastic. Unfortunately no good direct comparisons with Bottas n...

Whilst I don't believe this is Ric's representative speed. His position in these comparisons was probably also artificially high because of his 2014 against an under performing Vettel though. Is it possible to reset a poll to no votes? On my who will win the championships thread I was thinking of resetting it every so often to see how the mood switches. Should have thought of it earlier as post-Austria I imagine we'd have got completely different answers to what there was initially.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an appeal over that. Don't see how they can. The FIA attempted to remove enough fuel and managed 0.3l. Aston Martin were allowed, with the FIA watching on, to attempt to remove more but failed to get enough. Game over, I'd say. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a...
