In terms of average speed, Silverstone was faster tan Monza, but I think Monza had top speeds.

To be fair, couldn't be bothered doing too much deep research to verify all of the figures - it's just an internet forum and (I like to kid myself) I have a life, so just trusting people to be reasonably accurate with figures. This reminds me of this videoclip: [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: I've actually never seen a gun
I still don't like guns, I was brought up by a father who had to carry one because of his job (and bring it home often), and I would get a huge tell off anytime I got closer to it (even though it was unloaded, of course). I have shot pistols, shotguns, MGs, assault rifles and had the chance to have ...

Which explains how and why grown men abroad have now become so neutered morally as to actually fear the mere sight of a firearm. I'm not affraid of guns, actually I'm affraid of people carrying guns. Your argumentation can be turned around and used to explain how grown men have become so excited ab...

My missus bit the bullet and bought me a PS4 for my birthday last week, and my mother-in-law bought me a copy of F1 2016 (another pleasant surprise!), the only problem was that we had just moved house and are STILL waiting for our broadband to be installed, so I was playing the game (and PS4) unpat...

Re: is there a regulation on lap-time for all circuits in F1
Wait are people seriously implying that the current Hockenheim is better for overtaking than the old one? I don't believe this one bit. I do, the old one was faster, but too narrow. This new Hockenheim is better IMO. As for the reason to shorten it, I thought it was for ecological and safety reason...

I was surprised Hamilton even bothered to go out tbh. Installation laps. Re: is there a regulation on lap-time for all circuits in F1
I've enjoyed F1 since 1988, and I've seen many circuits leave and/or replace with new ones. Somehow, if my memory serves me right, I have never seen any circuit that: 1. Lap time is under 60 seconds, or 2. Lap time is over 120 seconds (2 minutes) So the question is: is there actually a regulation b...

Yepp, in actual fact, Button was the one who was actually considering retiring from Mclaren, not Alonso. But Herbert lets everything Button says slide. The reason for bringing Kimi up is simply that, like Alonso, he's been accused of not perhaps having the drive he used to anymore (e.g. the endless references to eating ice-cream) and maybe he should therefore leave. The only comparison is how both drivers reacted to that, so how PR either is is no...

Kimi just doesn't care at all, he's a very different character than Alonso. If something annoys him, he just opens another bottle of vodka, and if someone questions his will to race, he'll have an ice-cream.
