I don't know if this has been posted already but it's quite telling. Basically Bernie needs at least 20 cars to be fielded to obligate the 100 year commercial rights deal, or the fia could regain control.

Re: Driver of the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix Race
Was it risky? Lewis himself acknowledged that it was. Did it work out? He came through unscathed and won the race. It's done now. What is the big problem? Because it's Hamilton. Like someone said earlier, he passed Vettel in a drs overtaking zone, and made no contact with Seb or the wall. The notio...

Where the hell was Hamilton all this years ??? Hamilton is second as Vettel was first/second in similar rankings all this years...when you hace a fast car is dificult to say "you are doing wrong"...where is vettel this year ? I'm confused. Are you saying Hamilton has been bad for the last 6 races, ...

Re: Top 10 F1 Power Rankings from the Bleacher Report
Over the last 6 races? I agree with the top 2, but you could make a case for reversing them. And the same for 3&4. Alonso's had a bit of a poor patch by his standards. Could've been penalised in Hungary for cutting the chicane, Spa wasn't so great (lucky not to be penalised again), Monza was short a...

Ricciardo versus Vettel in stats: Pole positions. 0-0 Front row starts. 3-2 Vettel Wins. 3-0 Ricciardo Podiums. 7-3 Ricciardo Laps leading. 72-1 Ricciardo Laps completed. 848-691 Ricciardo Retired. 3-1 Vettel Dsq'd. 1-0 Ricciardo Although Vettel's had much worse reliability, he's had an awful season...

I'm glad you mentioned Erricson holding off Bianchi on older tyres. As for RB, surely splitting strategies would've been worth a punt?

Re: Did you look at Nico Rosberg as a future world champion
Yes. From China 2012 he showed he could control a race from the front comfortably. I think it was q2 in Brazil 2011 where he showed what he could do in qualifying. His main flaws are more evident when he has some overtaking to do. Overcautious in attack, and quite aggressive in defence. I do sometim...

I voted no. There are too many variables to go down this route. You could say the same for all drivers; if Alonso swaps with Hamilton and gets beat by Rosberg, does that mean he's lost his credibility?

He made a mistake and he probably gave back the places he was advised to give back by his team over the radio. This track reminds me of Valencia. People used to say that was the most boring race of the season, then 2012 happened. Singapore is a cracking track. Looks like a rubbish track to me. Very, very difficult to overtake. No scenery. Its under lights. Not much variety. At least with Monaco, all they have to fix is to make it possible to overtake. No scenery. Looks pretty stunning to me. It's under lights. And...... Not...

Which drivers do you think will be worst affected by the lack of radio? Personally, I'd say Perez is the biggest loser. They speak to him like I speak to my kid. Instead of fuel economy and tyre wear, with the occasional "calm down", it's "eat your food", "slow down" with the occasional "calm down".

Good point. Another way of looking at this issue is: how would an average driver be performing in Vettels situation? If Seb was winning 3-0 in race victories, and constantly finishing above him, even when fate seems against him, people would be calling Ricciardo average at best. As many suspected, ...

If Sebastian had only struggled for pace for 1, 2, 3 or maybe even 4 races, but then finally got it together, it would make sense to the claim that he simply wasn't able to easily adjust to the 2014 car. Fact is, he has struggled and been slower than his less experienced teammate for just about eve...

@ the overtake statistic; that 2 overtakes on Lewis is a pretty impressive statistic, especially considering that unlike Nico he hasn't usually had it all his own way.
