Hamilton and Verstappen driving equally matched machinery with no assistance or hindrance from race stewards or officials . Fair and equal application of the rules as written . Let the chips fall where they may and the best "Driver " win . Who wouldn't be for this in 2022 ?

Even Hamilton loves the sound of Alonso's V10 as he puts the brakes on mid interview

It apparently made him forget about saving the planet for a little while .

Alonso's Renault R25 2005 V-10 today at Abu Dhabi
Fernando drove his old ride around the track at Abu Dhabi with cameras rolling and the sound of that V10 is glorious . Actually sounds like a real race car . Video is available on the internet and is worth a watch .

Why not just allow the smaller teams additional testing at tracks close to their home facility /factory just like they used to do years ago as this would keep their costs down making testing more feasible . Test hours could be allotted based on constructor points and or budget and include F1 approva...

So when the gimmicks F1A introduce to supposedly attract fans have negative consequences they go into damage control mode with even more gimmicks . Just let the teams race with whatever engine they prefer turbo , Hybrid , naturally aspirated and let the best design / strategy prevail

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the sound coming out of the McLaren cars exhaust is different from the other cars on the grid this year . To me it sounds more like the old V8 engines prior to the hybrid era ?

Formula E teams will be able to run any tyres they choose but will be required to only run official "E 1 " batteries that will be constantly tweaked by the official battery manufacturer over the season so they won't hold a charge for the whole race . This means an uncertain 2-3-4 stop strategy will ...

Chance of Senna winning the championship that year was very remote . The Williams chassis with the active suspension now banned was very unstable and flat out dangerous .
Senna himself said they were starting from scratch to get the car working again after the original suspension was banned .
