Re: Button: Lack of pace cost us the title
Lack of pace cost us the title....is such a nonsensical excuse...it begs what planet Button and his fans are on...THATS the reason why all the other teams didnt win hey any reason to make Button relavant.....Im really looking foward to the Epic fail by Mclaren next....and off course the old boyz net...

Re: Who will win first, Hamilton or Perez?
Lewis is easily gonna best the 2 Mclaren driver....I suspect perez is gonna be in a lot of trouble,Withmarsh like a man trapped will do everything to try and prove to the world that Button is world beater...something he hasnt done in 3 yrs but hey Lewis was holding him back.

Mclaren struggles from Lewis shodow
Mclaren is a great team with a rich heritage and great pedigree and will do fine in the future.....so why did rush to anounce Prez and now...rushing to be 1st to anounce launch date,as if to say we are doing fine without Lewis.yea yea all F1 Fans know you will be ok ......but do you think you will b...

Re: Di Resta going downhill?
Diresta got caught up in the Mclaren Lewis negotiation,he listened to Culthard and Button, and seeing that Withmarsh has serious resentment issues with the Hamiltons he had to fire Anthony so then LEADER Button would bring him in. Anthony sued which then made him toxic to Mclaren and everyone else.no...

Re: is it possible button could win wdc next year
Button is a known quantity in F1 and 3yrs Mclaren his best result is a distant 2nd in championship, which in many ways was an anomally, because the Ferrari was woefull,Webber was well below par,and Lewis had his worst year in f1,plus the mercs were also way off pace worst than this year So the partern...

Re: is it possible button could win wdc next year
Is it possible absolutely.....but after 3yrs in Mclaren theres is no evidense that he can fight consistently week in week out to sustain a tittle challenge. Button main problem apart from being a 2nd tier driver is he lack ambition and fire in the belly, yes he will push a bit to try and beat Lewis.B...

Resentfull Ron,whats up with that
In the middle of negotiations arrogant Ron Dennis came out publicly and suggest a paycut for Lewis Hamilton arguably the best driver in F1,while a year before he gave a generous raise to Button, who most agree is top of the 2nd tier he then came out again and hinted that Lewis may not have a choice i...

Re: Lewis 2 - Jenson 1
In fact if you look at it, Jenson was absolutely no where near Lewis until the middle of 2011 and had a run of about 9-10 races that he sometimes beat/matched or narrowly lost to Lewis. A period in which Lewis had 5 on track collisions and 6 penalties. Very poor form from Lewis. Other than that gold...

if Massa had qualified 15th you all would be saying as many have been through out the year that he is dragging the Ferrari where it does not belong. In fairness to Massa he found some of his Mojo back, and that reflected in his time but he also was not happy with his time.so that tells us that there ...

Massa performance has been one of the metrics used to gauge Fernando, also its generally believe as we been told a 1000s time by Brundle and others that he is the best in F1 and that he has at least 3th on Massa .........Based on today qualifying results you would have to saying he is buckling.

Perez fire warning shot at Mclaren
Perez has made his intention clear to Mclaren that he is coming to the team to challenge for the tittle...not some learning rooki playing rear gunner Next year will be his 3rd year in F1 so he is certainly not a Rooki, and having seen what Lewis did as a rooki of missing the championship by 1 point i...

Re: Does Hamilton actually know anything about building a te
I like Lewis but I have been slightly confused by what he says regarding the 'challenge' he is facing. He said he always takes the tough road - but its obvious a few pundits didnt 'quite' agree - given he'd been groomed by a top team from day one - and never had to drive a slow car. What it seems t...

I'm not a Hamilton fan. But what Whitmarsh has said is shocking. If I was Hamilton I would do everything possible to McLaren's race in Texas to make it their worse race in Grand Prix history. the fact of the matter Witmarsh brought Button into Mclaren after an unconvincing end to his championship.Button After wining the 1st 5races with a car 2 seconds faster than his colleagues ,had a very lackluster 2nd Half to the season ,once the other teams namely Redbull caught up. This sentiment is a bad omen for Mclaren,Button dont seem to have any real inner motivation in F1 other than beating Lewis or do just doing enough to be credible to the chattering class This year encapsulate Button,he wins the 1st race and then a good result then disappeares for 5 races, but that win...

The fact of the matter is cars do fail from time to time and every failure is not a conspiracy.what we do know is from Japan to India Lewis didnt receive 100% service from his engineers.Ted Kravitz reported that lewis car was left unattended for a session.hence the result is the same as sabotaging t...
