Re: When was the last time Macca did not have a TOP driver?
There it is, the built-in excuse of the car being bad being trotted out once again. But that argument falls to pieces when you see the young driver, the one who was supposed to be Button's understudy, outqualify him by more than .5 sec. Yes, in that same doggy car. Yes Button is a World Champion, ju...

Re: When was the last time Macca did not have a TOP driver?
I’m a Macca supporter and I do support Jenson, but still he is no Hamilton/Alonso/Raikkonen IMO , I can live with that without getting too worked up (this is not a Button bashing thread btw). But, I think this the first time in a lot of years (that I can remember anyway) that Macca have not had an ...

You don't see a difference between someone genuinely noticing something and wanting to discuss it and someone just making something up for the purpose of digging into a driver? Both are arbitrary analyses of brief statements/actions made in the immediate aftermath of an intense hour of competition....

This is actually an impossible question to answer with the current evidence. My take on Lewis Hamilton is that, in terms of talent and raw speed and instinct, he is as good as it gets. Of course there is a lot more to winning championships in F1 though. You need to have a strategic mind with an eye...

I'm rather perturbed by the natural tendency (or at least the media propoganda) that the "Rebels" in the FSA must be good guys worth giving weapons too. A recent documentary on the origins of the Syrian conflict and the nature of the conflict today, showed that war (as we know) is an horrific thing...

Lewis beat Jenson.....just. But Jenson more than held his own and was superb in 2011. That counts as success. Most people thought he'd get thrashed, and he didn't. Jenson was good for half a season in 2011 and that is his problem he's always good for half a season and never a complete season and th...

If you look at what has actually happened in the races, rather than just the result sheets, you'd see he's given basically nothing. Welcome to the forum. Advice, threads like these don't end well in this forum. Threads like what? I don't think it's a very provocative subject It is not provocative, but can be taken as partisan. If you don't mind my asking you a question, is there a way of quantifying Lewis contribution to the car?
