It's just like chess in a sense. It looks boring if you don't understand the sheer amount of thinking and planning behind it, but once you get that part it becomes fascinating.

A lot of those weren't really going for a seat anyways. And Di Resta is going to be confirmed sooner or later, that's pretty obvious. The real list would look more like this: Kobayashi Kovalainen Petrov Karthikeyan De La Rosa D'Ambrosio Senna Sutil Alguersuari Buemi Van Der Garde This is still leav...

Little correction. Pironi did not die in his crash at Hockenheim (though he did in a speedboat accident a few years later). He broke both his legs, preventing him from competing.CalMac wrote:Didier Pironi: 1982 (If he was alive yes)

We can look at just about any season and say the WDC got lucky. Hamilton was lucky that Glock gave out on the last lap, Alonso was lucky that Schumi's car let go in the last two races of 2006, Senna was lucky he didn't get a big penalty in 1990, etc. We can speculate all we want, but the only solid ...

Does "Button" get pronounced as "Buttun" in foreign languages? I'd expect some to use "But-ON". On French Canadian TV they say it the same as in English, but with more stress on the second syllable. They have a tendency to anglicize names, though, and I don't quite remember how the French presenter...

It is pretty much getting back to the 'old days' of MS RB and co at Ferrari. It was usually a foregone conclusion who was going to win before the start, which it seems to be becoming again. Now as several drivers and team leaders have said, it is not their job to slow down, it is up to the others t...

We would've had an even better case of a close championship if Raikkonen didn't exist in 2007 and the championship was decided by 0 point. Or if Räikkönen scored one point less, three drivers would be tied (Räikkönen would still win on account of having more victories). Yes, at Force India. The Hulk, I believe, is a shoe-in at Ferrari. His quali today has really helped his chances, out qualifying Massa and PDR I doubt Hulkenburg beating Di Resta by half a tenth (due to PDR hitting traffic in S2) will sway Ferrari's decision much. I reckon it will already be a done...
