Re: The Official Jenson Button thread
'Jenson and Jessica did not have any financial arrangement before their marriage, ' a source told the publication. http://ecommerce-journal.com/2015/12/formula-1-driver-jenson-button-splits-from-wife-of-one-year/ there's a lesson there - I'm sure it won't be too high up the list... https://en.wikipe...

Re: BRITON WHO INTRUDED SINGAPORE F1 TRACK JAILED FOR 6 WEEK
A bit harsh isnt it? But maybe its an exemplary punishment for those who want to "alter" races on their own. I don't think it is harsh really.... Had he caused a driver to take avoiding action that resulted in an accident then he could have not only but also put spectators at risk as well as any nu...

"It no longer inspires the fans. The public wants heroes and gladiators, but F1 no longer provides those." but some excellent battles are happening on track This is the problem. There are some excellent battles, but they are down the grid and rarely at the front. The winners aren't heroes or gladia...

Re: Webber's Legacy
From the Front Page of PlanetF1... "Webber laments lack of F1 ‘heroes and gladiators’ " Mark Webber has once again bemoaned the state that Formula 1 finds itself in, saying the sport lacks characters as everything can be engineered. He added: "It no longer inspires the fans. The public wants heroes ...

Former world champion Jacques Villeneuve doubts Romain Grosjean is the right man to lead the Haas Formula 1 team in its debut season. "Villeneuve was involved in the birth of British American Racing in 1999, which didn't win a race until being purchased by Honda in 2006, and eventually left the team...

Lower midfield, Q2 appearances (but not Q3) and some points is what I would put my money on next year for Haas. They'll do well if it turns out like that. Lower midfield is pretty much how I see it going. Some points would be a solid starting point for them. on the front page of planetf1....

What if Renault makes a good leap with its unused tokens and the next years tokens to bring them right to the front? Can we assume that RBR & TR rushed their decisions? That would be a bummer for them. It is "Convenient" to get Red Bull aka Neue and the boys off the track before Renault's return ,,...

Hey all! Figure it makes sense to introduce myself before I dive in and start posting. I'm a fairly new F1 fan from the US (or possibly "very new", depending on your scale of such things), although that story would most likely have been different if I'd had access to F1 on the TV when I was growing...
