Re: 2017 Italian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Threa

They should stop showing that shoulder cam angle especially on the likes of Mercedes and Ferrari. I don't know why FOM are so against broadcasting the T-cam this year compared to other years.

Re: Hamilton vs Bottas, adjusted for Luck

Hamilton will never dominate a teammate apart from kovalainen. He's just not good enough. If there was Alonso in that Mercedes he would destroy Bottas just like he did to Massa and would be leading this championship by a comfortable margin.

Re: Mercedes must back Hamilton, now

It's the same old story with Hamilton. Seems to be a common thread now in Hamilton’s career where he’s supposed to crush teammates but never eventuates. Don’t forget that Bottas wasn’t much better than a Felipe Massa about 8 years past his prime.

Finally, an unnamed current F1 driver also tipped Vettel to emerge with spoils at the end of a long head-to-head with Mercedes' Hamilton in 2017. "Hamilton lacks the bite," he said. "You can only rely on talent alone when you have a car that is a second faster. Three tenths per lap is not enough to ...

So Hamilton lost abit of performance in his engine for quali due to the fuel system change and still got pole. This is getting beyond ridiculous. The bigger picture is if the issue isn't fully fixed will Hamilton be down on power for quali for the rest of the season? The engine is supposed to be OK...

All the current champions in the grid have exactly the same number of championships as they have wins in Japan. When I see stats like these you know that the inevitable will happen and Rosberg will be World Champion. Hamilton 3 WDC, 3 wins (2007, 2014, 2015) Alonso 2 WDC, 2 wins (2006, 2008) Vettel ...

Lewis did make a good start, in fact both Mercedes' which was nice to see and might give a little hope for Lewis' WDC chances. The stacking of Engines is now a blessing too. ...

Hamilton was pulling away 0.7 a lap whilst they fought - he had just got into the window that very lap he blew up. One wonders just how hard Hamilton was pushing and what engine mode he had deployed. Ferrari would have won more if they had Hamilton or Vettel at the wheel in the period 2010 - 2015 and I think with time things will become clearer for the majority. IMO, Hamilton has already won a WDC without the outright best car (2008). You will not convince me that the MP4/23 was even on par, let alone better than the F2008. He matched a reigning 2 time WDC in his rookie season. Won the WDC in his second. Then compellingly beat previously highly regarded te...
