Re: Is Ricciardo done?

Fine margins. If he'd been one metre wider at turn one, he'd have won yesterday. There is no way Ricciardo would have won..He is simply too slow..Easily the slowest of the top 10 drivers in the top cars right now So you are certain he would have been massively outpaced by Ocon, to the point of bein...

Re: Is Ricciardo done?

Ricciardo should be relieved of his duties .. Zero progress all year and his cheeky laughs and smiles are getting old now .. dude needs to step up or surrender his seat .. what an absolute disservice to the team Can't judge him on this race. He likely had major damage. He was just spun around.. Def...

I don't think being Vegan can give you a performance edge. But I also think it's a great commitment to make and don't understand how anyone can look down on or be annoyed at vegans. They make a sacrifice to help the world that many of us wont. My partner is vegan and I could never. It's to big a co...

Is Ricciardo done?

After 2014, Daniel Ricciardo was regarded as one of the top 2-3 drivers and was held in high regard atleast for a few years.. But the arrival of Max spelt the beginning of hid downfall..By the second year he was clearly in shade of Max..After that he has never really looked top tier material and now...

With Ocon one has to wonder what has gone wrong. As looking at it he just suddenly declined, as he was always in the top 10 and now since his new contract he cant even get out of Q1. One thing I've always wondered about is there something about Alonso's presence in the team that somehow makes his t...

Re: Did Alpine make a mistake extending Ocon's contract?

Ocon could be a long term #2 driver for them but as a #1 he would be pretty dreadful and bring the level down to Haas or Alfa Romeo in terms of their lead driver level... Ocon was easily beaten by Perez, destroyed by Ricciardo, only looked good till Alonso was obviously rusty and now again back to ...

Re: Hamilton vs Schumacher and their contemporaries (split from Official Hamilton Thread)

I think it may have been, if you adjust a little for luck. In 2012 Schumacher was generally on Rosberg's pace, although DNFs and reliability made the result rather more lopsided. I wouldn't say he was far off Hamilton's 2013 relative form at all, another season in which the Mercedes drivers looked ...

The fact that Alonso is struggling so much against Ocon is indirectly making Schumacher’s comeback look better. - Alonso is 39 and still a few years younger than Schumacher was during his comeback - Alonso did not suffer a serious neck injury like Schumacher did in 2009 - Ocon is not as good as Ros...
