Re: GT Sport

Anyone get a chance to play the demo of this last week?

Looks and sounds impressive but I think the lack of GT mode is really going to hurt this game.

I keep hearing it's not a full GT game (i.e. GT7) but for the price I would want a bit more than some driving school challenges and online lobbies.

Re: K-Mag: Dangerous, unsporting or simply misunderstood?

We even had Ricciardo in the last race weaving down the straight and moving in the braking zone when defending from Vettel. I'm going by my memory here but I thought it was more a case of breaking at a bit of an angle back on to the traditional racing line rather adjusting his trajectory in the bre...

Re: F1 2017

Just finished the Sprint championship where I was the WDC. However, there seem to be some discrepancies there. All the cars, even a McLaren Honda seem faster inspite of choosing the fastest setup. Even when I've got DRS, am unable to pass on pure speed. My late braking enables me to overtake. Now I...

I would rather ugly cars with safety features and an open expanse of run off area to ensure driver safety.

No one should risk injury or losing a life in the name of sport.

Re: 2017 Hungarian in-season Test

According to en.F1i.com Kubica's fastest lap is .5 off Palmer's qualifying time. Its a 1.18.952 and he has 124 laps to his name. According to their live timing. Comparing Saturday's timings with anything that is recorded this week is pointless. At a guess they would look to see how his times compar...

True. But people tend to move whereas a wall would not!

Anyway, hopefully just a small blip. I wish him all the best for today and I for one would love to see him back in F1. Not only is he a talented driver but he was/is a very funny and likeable guy.

Very uncharacteristic of Kubica but all's forgiven! (Wait till the end)! 892642731582992384 Hopefully that is the only thing that goes wrong today. it's because of all the photographers. Interesting to hear Max say that introduction of the VSC system was unnecessary. I listened to FP1 on BBC Radio 5 Live. I'm sure he said the introduction of the halo would be unnecessary as they already have the VSC. Which is a bit of a silly statement in itself as the intention of the VSC is only ...

I'd be interested to see how banking t15 improves overtaking.

In theory cars shouldn't have to scrub off as much speed going in to the corner and the exit should be less dependent on traction.

Nico is probably going to get a 5 grid penalty at Hungary and the maximum he can hope for is 2nd place. Lewis probably wins the race if he has no issues. Hungary is tough to overtake on. This could destroy Nico's confidence if he goes into the summer break behind Lewis. We've got to go to Germany b...

Well no, the 2010 RBR had dreadful reliability - cracked exhausts, engine failures, oil pressure issues, brake failures etc, the 2012 Mclaren dropped out of a race twice for mechanical reasons , and Vettel's RBR had the same number of race ending mechanical issues as Hamilton last year. I make it 4...

The current system destroys the race to that point. If the cars could restart the race from the pit lane, with the green light starting the second driver as his previous gap time elapse, then the next driver, ect. I'm assuming all cars would be queued at the end of the pit lane with the lead car on...

What I've been wondering is why they don't use a GP2/GP3 car as a safety car? One of the major complains from drivers is that the safety car is too slow, and cools tires etc. Why not have a fluorescently marked GP2 car, fitted with the required lighting systems, in it's place?
