Re: This Is Getting Ridiculous. Fillipe Massa is Looking At Legal Options Over 2008 F1 Title Outcome.

Perhaps Massa isn't realistically expecting the result of the Championship to be changed. But if Ecclestone's words are true then he clearly deserves an apology if nothing else, compensation is hard to quantify... as it calls up a lot of if's and but's. I'm confused as to why Ecclestone stated they ...

Re: Budget Cap Breach Rumours

The FIA is in a sticky position here regarding taking away points. They could take away a small number of points last year and change the championship, or take away a huge number of this points and not change the championship. So how do they go about setting a precedent for the future? Also, I can't...

Wtf, people wanting an asterisk next to Verstappen and claiming tainted championship and stuff like that, is there one next to Prost 1989, senna 1990 or Schumacher 1994? No... Unless Masi resigns by March I’m done with this circus. Re: Which would have been the most controversial last race of the season?

I think Silverstone. Hamilton takes Verstappen out in an incident where he is primarily at fault, but due to the red flag he caused he is able to fully repair his car and rejoin the race, eventually winning despite a slap on the wrist penalty? I don't see what could be much worse than that, tbh. Sp...

No it wasn't. The Spa race was started under the SC for a couple of laps just to award points, that was the fiasco. The points weren't awarded based on qualifying.
Well, they were. Right or wrong, the grid was decided by qualifying and by extension the result.

Taking the honesty pill here, if this had happened in the first race of the season, would I care? Not much, it's only 7 points. This wouldn't have happened in the first race of the season. The safety car rules state that ALL lapped cars need to unlap themselves (if the unlapping option is chosen). So Masi was definitely wrong, no ifs, buts, or maybes. Perhaps they should reprofile some corners to make them a lot sharper and then when the drivers cut them they might end up taking the route they should have done in the first place.
