Sainz moaning about turn two.... well clearly you're not supposed to drive through the bollards at full speed are you? The whole point of the chicane is to slow you down, but no it has to be changed because you're an idiot!

Re: The end of Party Mode
I would really have expected Hamilton to end up higher than 7th, so did the lack of engine settings compromise him? Also wasn't Bottas moaning about it being impossible to race with the engine settings he had? So then perhaps F1 has a decision to make, it appears it is possible to slow down a 'too f...

I don't get why though? Why is it a problem to run wide at Copse, but yesterday there were 3 or 4 corners where every single lap every car was over the white line and it's apparently 'fine'. Re: 2020 Belgian Grand Prix Race Thread
Can somebody please explain to me why they enforce track limits at say Silverstone, but at Spa they can drive as far off the track as they like? It bugs the hell out of me. If they say it's to stop a driver gaining an 'advantage', but its the same for everyone then that makes no sense. So either enf...

Why Isn't Anyone Calling Out Mercedes for Holding Bottas?
In past seasons we've seen that kind of thing called out as 'not racing', but it seems to have passed with barely a comment... and Bottas even seems fine with it. Is the guy just accepting that his 'job' is to help Lewis win and presumably beat MSCs WDC record. It just seems odd that with Bottas in ...

So €1,120,570 eh? 2 questions. 1. What does it do that makes it that much better than my $300 Casio G Shock. 2. How the hell did they did they come up with the €1,120,570 price tag? They could've put a €1,120,500 or a €1,120,600 value on it but no, it had to be €1,120,570. 1. That's a dumb argument...

Re: Radical idea- enforce track limits on all tracks
Heres a thought, a radical one. There does seem that there are some corners that are near impossible to get without at least 2 wheels over the lines, year in, year out, be it merc, ferrari, red bull, Lewis, max, seb.. They all do it.. And have for years, which begs the question. Why is that the tra...

Perhaps they should reprofile some corners to make them a lot sharper and then when the drivers cut them they might end up taking the route they should have done in the first place.

Would like to see Seb at Mercedes mainly to watch him and Lewis in equal cars. Of course they could also race in equal cars at Ferrari. Re: Point for fastest lap
Point for fastest lap is much better than a point for pole. At least a WDC can't be decided before a race starts this way.
Also this will ensure the top teams need to show their genuine pace, if only for one lap.

The radio is probably quite important for the 'show'. As it's almost impossible to see the driver these days, it at least gives some connection for the viewer to the human inside the car. Wouldn't they push hard at the start to burn off the fuel and then once they'd got just barely enough to make it to the end of the race they'd start coasting again.
Best idea would be a mandatory fuel refill about 2/3rds of the way through the race!

At Interlagos Lewis Hamilton was less than a lap from exhaust system failure when the lean mixture sent the temperatures soaring above 1000 degrees F.
