Re: Halo credited for saving life in F2 race

If halo was responsible for saving life in this accident, then can anyone remind me when the last fatal accident happened, during which driver was killed after being struck in their head/body by competitor's tyre/wings/floor, well, car in general? Because I've watched, most of them live, so many acc...

Re: Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon

Watch the start again. After a desperate lunge at Ocon, Perez nearly tags the back of him and has to back out. Then he gets swamped by Sainz and Stroll. Next thing Sirotkin knows he's got a face full of Perez's Force India. Sirotkin may have gone in hot to that corner, but there wouldn't have been ...

Re: Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon

I think Ocon has improved relative to Perez, on balance I would have said he was the better performing driver before this weekend. I blame both drivers for the first lap carnage - Ocon 100% at fault for his retirement and Perez triggered the Sirotkin mess by trying to get aggressive with Ocon (agai...

How on earth haven't FOM thought ahead and got some different camera angles? The standard T-cam looks awful enough but the shoulder cam is totally blocked by the halo. Get rid of them. They serve little if any purpose except to objectify some women. It's an out-dated tradition, adds nothing to the sport and just objectifies women. Bottas was awful most of this season to be fair, Kimi was poor and I’m not sure either deserve to be in the top 10. That said without looking into it I’d rate them pretty similar and it wouldn’t surprise me if I ended up rating Kimi’s season ahead of Bottas’ if I compared them in detail. Bottas in ...

I’ll say the same thing I always say. Women, in significant quantities, just aren’t that interested in motorsports. Europe in 2011 was pretty forgettable. Everyone finished, literally no retirements. The only incident of note was Schumacher breaking his front wing against Petrov's Lotus. Alonso passing Webber for 2nd, fantastic move by Button on Rosberg, nice battles in the midfield. It certainly wasn't that bor...

Too lenient. Should've been black flag + one race ban + probation for 12 months.

The same penalty that Maldonado should receive (twice, with second one much, much harsher), but we all know that stewards have no integrity and money rules the world.
