Re: Who will claim 4th in the WDC?
I would bet checo, he has 2 races less than the rest, so he has comfortably scored more points per race than his competitors, so if this tendency continues in the last races he should be able to retain his recently gained 4th place

Re: Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon
IMO I see both Checo and Ocon better than Bottas, the problem is tht none of them would be willing to play second fiddle just as Bottas would, so for Mercedes it might not worth the gamble. I see Bottas at a Hulk level, pretty good, but somehow plain and predictable, without that killer insctinct of...

Re: Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon
Racism has played a big role on it, normally European drivers get much more interest, and there’s also a growing pressure and bias towards Ocon beating Perez to justify his value and prove himself as a deserving Mercedes driver, the problem is that Checo is a very tough referal and Ocon hasn’t been ...

1- Checo: No brainer, held all race with a damaged car, overtook half of the field, stayed away of trouble, overcome a penalty and at the end overtook the poleman and held him until the end with slower tire compound 2- Lecrerc: Nice display with one of the slowest cars on the grid, great performance...

That’s the main problem with Hulk, he lacks that killer insctint that sepparates the good drivers with the great ones. That hability to take advantage of the slightest opportunity, just like Checo has shown many times

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix
Toto Wolf, in his post race analysis, was despondent at how slow the Mercedes cars were during the race. He said Hamilton's pace was good enough for only 6th place. 6th place! Hamilton drove the wheels off his Mercedes to keep RIC behind him and managed a 2nd place finish. Yet it is Vettel, who dro...

Kimi has one job tomorrow - stop Hamilton getting ahead of him at any cost. Even if it means a double DNF then so be it. People won't like this post, but the truth is, this is likely exactly what Ferrari are telling Kimi right now. I doubt it. Ferrari don't even appear to have told him he isn't to ...

Perez, Ocon, Massa, Raikkonen etc. all were in contention for a podium at 1 stage. This race has been a emotional rollercoaster for most, if not all drivers. Checo had a very likely podium if he hasn't been run over by Ocon, He had a pace that matched Vettel, and could very likely won the race afte...

Official, Ocon ruined a very good shot for the victory for Checo and Force India Irrespective of what the team makes them say for PR, I don't think Ocon would care for what he could do to help Perez after what happened last time round. I think he he has matured a lot, he is one of that very few drives who has that killer instinct to attack at the right moment and make the most of any slight opportunity that he find. I really hope to ser him in wearing red overalls instead of pink, he could be a very good upgrade over Raikkonen

I havr a doubt here, in China, Perez achived 12 consecutive races in the points and media said he will hold this record among all drivers on the grid, altough the list indicates Raikkonen hold this record with 27 races. Does anyone has some precise idea of it?

Re: Rightio. Who's it gunna be??
Honestly, I really don't think its going to be Wehrlein, even tough he's german, he hasn't really shown much, he was even outlooked by Force India in favour of Occon, so why would Mercedes take the driver that Force India didn't want to take? Specially when they can afford to buyout any recision con...

Runors indicate that red bull has built a superb chassis for new 2017 regulations, and without the token limit Renault PU can get closer to Mercedes PU, so I wouldn't be so sure about the Mercedes domination again, I firmly believe that Ricciardo will be in contention for the 2017 title

In my opinion, the pair Hulk/Perez is in another league compared to Massa/Bottas, I think drivers are having a huge rol in Force India recent form. No doubt for me thar if you swap drivers, Williams would end on top and definitely would be challenging for better positions

The 2013 mclaren is not much a reference, car was rubbish and he was facing a teammate with 3 years of experience on the team, but even with that, looking at second half of the season, Perez outquaified Button and both were very even in points, despite the fact that Perez hasd many failures with car...

Totally agree on that, even tough he managed to come back from 7th and kept lewis at bay (yes, he had trouble, but still is a terrific car) my point is, give him a competitive car and can easily be in the fight for the championship, he has proven worth of a top car
