Norris is just not a smart driver. The only way you lose to Piastri is if he undercuts you, and then he had a slow stop. He had the choice of pitting first and willingly gave that up. Madness. If I were Piastri I wouldn't have given up that place tbf hes not smart outside the car either Why?

Red Bull showing why they are the best team - what a comeback, back to dominance. Whopping 20 seconds ahead.
Ferrari with show laps in free practice but in reality nowhere.
Otherwise an utterly boring and uninteresting race.

Lindblad has not impressed me this season. Makes too many mistakes Yeah, no one is really standing out in F2 this year. I think Lindblad and Dunne have talent but both need another year in F2. Yes, they are both fast - but both also made hilarious mistakes throughout the season. I agree, another ye...

Re: Cadillac Confirm 2026 Drivers
It would be weird he would be 5+ years older than most and with 8 years in Indy! I don't know if the suggested thinking behind that rumour was for him to get more relevant experience or Superlicense points. Either way it would be odd. He can just do six FP1 sessions and assuming he runs 100km and p...

I get it crashes are exciting and who cares about the victim, carry on like that then a driver might have to sit out a race. Drivers trying to make things happen is exciting. And yes... Seeing the Racing Bulls car so close to the Red Bull, I thought it is interesting to see nobody claims that the second team is working for the first anymore. I feel sorry for Norris, losing his second place with no fault of his own. Antonelli should be relegated back to F2. Hamilton should retire. I can't see GM giving him a stake. Certainly not at this stage anyway. Maybe if they're floundering around adrift at the back come the middle of 2027 and he hasn't gone anywhere else, then you go to someone like Horner and give him the keys to the castle to make it a success. The problem with this ...

Re: Cadillac Confirm 2026 Drivers
Given who is available, it's the best possible option for Cadillac. They could've waited it out a little with one of the two seats but there is no guarantee that whichever of Bottas and Perez they delayed on would still be available, or indeed that any other driver who would represent a better choi...

Re: Cadillac Confirm 2026 Drivers
To be expected - and very uninspiring. Uninspiring? Cadillac will almost certainly be the worst team in F1 next year, and I can’t think of another time when the slowest car in the sport had a lineup as good as Bottas and Perez. Well I guess McLaren Honda, but those were extraordinary circumstances....

Re: Cadillac Confirm 2026 Drivers
I will however say that Perez will be very good regarding experience and feedback. But Bottas also has that and the team probably would have been better off mixing an experienced driver with a new one. In a few seasons time, yes... but not right now. Cadillac is going into 2026 with a lot of unknow...

Would Yuki vault from last to the middle of the second tier (Albon, Hulk, Lewis, Isaac, Pierre, Alonso) if he had stayed at VCARB? I have to believe he would, and I think polls from last year pretty much confirm that as well, IIRC. This is an interesting one to ponder. I think you're probably right...

Others have noted that the gap is smaller this year than previously as well as me noticing it. I don't know why so many don't include sprints in statistics. If you don't do this then there would be a change to every sinlge drivers position in the standings from P10 - P19 other than Gasly. The top 9...

The average qualifying gap for stroll and Alonso this year is a lot smaller only being just over 2 tenths. At least two other pairs of team mates are a fair bit worse than that. I would go as far as saying the worse looking statistics of always qualifying stroll is in representative as they are act...

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why people are so confident that Norris (and hence Piastri) are at a level far below Verstappen in terms of speed. We have really no idea how they compare on raw pace, although the most direct link we have (which I want to reinforce is a dubious one, and I have no in...

One driver dive bombing a corner is another driver leaving the door wide open, well it seems to be if you're called Lewis Hamilton. No divebombing occurred. There isn't even enough of a braking zone for a divebombing to be possible there. I think if you look to overtake where you can't overtake cle...
