It's also missing the fact that Kimi missed Q3 by .200 seconds with a very competitive chassis in Canada because of differential trouble (misfortune) which would have certainly helped his starting position and race result given both he and Grosjean's pace during the race. Yet, completely neglected....

No. The biggest improvement is achieved by Lotus. A near backmarker last year, the best car this year. Had it been the big names driving the cars, it would've been leading the WDC and WCC standings now. They were rubbish at certain tracks by their own admission; they were far from being a "backmark...

Re: Frentzen-Schumacher has blocked my F1 comeback

Is Schumacher's lacklustre return attributable to too much time off and/or insufficient fitness, or does it come down to other issues specific to Michael and his circumstances - issues which would not be a factor elsewhere? Here's a better theory: the car/team aren't good enough. Edit: spelling.

Apart from the first half of 2010, Schumacher hasn't been dominated by Rosberg. At all. It's been about even. . Going OT here but the points during their time together are 308 vs. 177. Ummmm 5 podium finishes this year? Whats wrong with those results exactly? The jury is out on whether the car was capable of much more including wins or whether these 5 podiums are good enough. The one thing that sticks out for me: Schumacher got 'pole' at Monaco of all places at the age of 43 . Based on this, claims that Prost+Senna would get smashed to bits are ridiculous. Another thing to note is the tracks nowadays: how many tracks these days feature gravel traps? Back then, one mistak...

The best pole Kimi has scored, in a "poor" car, was his Italian GP 2006 pole... Even then it was in the 3rd fastest car. The fact remains, Kimi hasn't pulled a single blinding Q3 lap out in any of these 11 races and is losing the qualifying war to his (effectively rookie) team-mate. I don't underst...
