Re: Rosberg perhaps feeling a little demoralised?
I think Nico is more thinking along the terms that he has been with mercedes since they were taken over. He has gone through all the bad times with him and suddenly when they get this great car that he himself will take credit for to help form, this other driver then roles up and takes what was mean...

Re: The Official Lewis Hamilton thread
Canada next, Lewis's track when he's got the setup right he really is awesome. Good seeing Nico doing well to. Its not just Lewis he had beaten, also everyone else so clearly he is a talented driver. Once Lewis really gets to groups with the car then he will come into his own I am sure.

Re: Official 2013 winter testing thread
Mercedes have done plenty of running so I would hope by now they can get a handle on their tyres. Doing 100+ laps every day will be telling them something with their long run deg so hopefully it wont be as bad and on par with other teams

Re: Official 2013 winter testing thread
Anyone got any opinions on the mercedes, while they are putting a lot of milage on it, neither autosport or BBC have commented on the lap times for their race simulations etc Nico got some dry running today yet still no lap times. From what it seems they have not done many low fuel runs this week fo...

Re: Is Hamilton sandbagging?
He will be playing down expectations, no point him saying he reckons they will be competitive just now, nothing to gain in saying that. He will keep saying this until the first race and either he can say I was right or its nice to be a bit ahead of where we thought we are.

Re: MORE DOWNFORCE!!
Surely driver knows to a certain extent what developments are going onto the car and how the main parts work. ie, If Newey has something special on the Red Bull which gives it alot more downforce compared to everyone else, surely Vettel will know about it and an overview of how it works. I am sure i...

Re: MORE DOWNFORCE!!
Out of interest does anyone know when a driver goes to a new team is there a clause by the old team stating they cannot share certain information with the new team. Say Vettel went to Mclaren is there anything stopping him sharing everything he knows at Red Bull and the design secrets helping mclare...

Re: MORE DOWNFORCE!!
Pretty sure he wouldn't say to the engineers, can I get more downforce. It will just be something he says to the cameras, making it simple for everyone to understand the car needs to be better

Re: Lewis Hamilton moves to Mercedes.
Mixed opinions on this move. I think it got a bit stale at McLaren and every year they make a number of mistakes with him which costs him races, hopefully at mercedes they will operate more efficiently during races. Working with Brawn is exciting as well, could learn a bit more, but really need the ...

Re: Hamilton stopping on the track - Excluded from qualifyin
Can someone tell me how what Kobayashi is any different. After Q2 was finished he stopped out on track apparently out of fuel therefore couldnt get back to the pits. The advantage came in that he got into Q3. Surely he should of had the same penalty as well? I dont think he was out of fuel. It was ...
