Re: Has the format of the 2016 F1 weekend been chosen?
I don't know what the answer is. Im not saying get rid of practice at all. Just 3 sessions is over the top for them to fine tune their cars. Not sure if longer qualifying is needed or dare i say it...a sprint race (no just no!!!) And they should all have free testing throughout the entire season. T...

- part of it is commercial value - part of it is driver performance - part of it is luring a driver away from another team or winning a bidding war against other teams - part of it is making sure a great driver doesn't go drive for another team and becomes a competitor you wouldn't want to have The...

Re: I miss Häkkinen vs Schumacher
You don't get rivalries like that anymore. Like their fanbases, the drivers are busy with mind games and talking trash about each other, no respect like there used to be. Or they respect eachother more and don't use their cars as weapons against eachother? How can you claim Schumacher respected his...

Re: The Official Lewis Hamilton thread
Everyone know that Hamilton is a better driver both in qualifying and in the races and it's impossible for a driver like Rosberg to simply just find that much speed all of the sudden when it hasn't been there for their whole careers racing each other. You do know Rosberg won the pole trophy last ye...

I think the reason most people think it was a hash up Zoue is because reading the race thread throughout the race it was evident to us all within a couple of laps what they were trying wouldn't work and that they needed to bring him in immediately. Now they're being paid very handsomely and using mi...

A massive favourite for the 2016 title at the moment.
Anyone who thinks the last races of this season highlights what next season will be like should be jumping on Betfair and laying Hamilton for the title at short priced odds.

Re: Are driver's in today's f1 overpaid?
How close is pretty close? Lewis was 50+ ahead of Rosberg and tied the championship up with 3 races to go. Perez was 20 points ahead of Hulk that's generally at least 3 races in a Force India. I wouldn't say either of those were pretty close when taking in to context. I do think F1 drivers are overp...

Could pose the same question for many others how many championships do Vettel and Hamilton have to win before they get some credit? Rosberg has got credit for his wins just not enough to satisfy you. Rosberg has done well to win 3 races on the bounce now let's see him do it with the title on the line.

If I was lewis I'd be asking big questions. Lap nico first is a right, keeping lewis out till his chances were over is wrong. Seems to me merc don't give two chits about the drivers but only merc. Even Monza the next race they told Lewis to be conservative to which he didn't listen.

You're honestly saying Rosberg gained the 7 seconds completely ignoring the fact Hamilton stayed out on old tyres whilst Rosberg has brand new tyres? The gap went from under a second to over 12 in the pit stop phase. Rosbergs amazing driving and nothing to do with the strategy and tyres?
