The rules are clear. The car has to have at least 1 ltr of fuel left at the end of qualifying and the race for scrutineering. It didn't so a penalty was correctly given. Harsh as the driver pays for what is most likely a team mistake but it's the same for everyone.

Massa is a good driver but through a combination of factors (loosing the 2008 championship despite driving the better season, near fatal crash in 2009 and being Alonso's team-mate) he isn't able to show his true worth. Stick him in a decent car and he'll get his confidence back and will win again.

I feel sorry for whoever sits in the 2nd Ferrari, especially with Alonso in the other car. Much that I'd like to se di Resta in a front running team, I'd hate for him to end up being someones tailgunner/tea boy/sacrificial lamb.

His destiny lies with Merc' if they remain in F1.
