How to do well in a work trial ?

I got a 3 day work trial coming up in a few weeks with a Honda dealership for an apprentice role as a vehicle technician. Anyone got any tips on how to do well in the 3 days?

Re: Learning to drive

This may sound silly but . . . Are your lessons too long? You may drive fine then start messing up as you realise how long is left. I had 1hr lessons in which I had plenty of time to do everything & improve yet never really let it get to me. Some friends have 2hr lessons & I'm not sure they're the ...

Learning to drive

I am learning to drive right now and having a few problems. I have had 13 two hour lessons in total. I have done the manoeuvres and know how to use clutch fine and all that but I get really stressed about lessons for some reason. I keep making small mistakes which impacts my confidence quite a bit. ...

Come on. Really?

When you talk to a non-f1 fan about formula one. Most of the time one name always comes up. Schumacher!

He is the face of F1 till someone breaks all his stats. Everyone knows the name "Michael Schumacher" and "Ferrari".

This my friend is the face of F1

Scrap DRS, Scrap Kers. Add the extra HP gained by kers to engine power. bring back refuelling and only one tyre brand. bring back F duct on cars, and EBD(they sound great). Also adjustable front wing via cockpit of car. Improve regulations and make teams sign that they agree and no loop holes. this ...

Re: When did you pass your drivers test and in what car?

How many lessons does it take on average to pass? Well of course it may be different for some people. I think I had 11 hours of lessons but your instructor should tell you whether they think you are doing well or not. The main thing is to not panic and do something stupid, and talk friendly to the ...

Disappointment big time in Spain, Hamilton who started 24th went ahead of Button at the finish line. Monaco unable to pass a back marker car for like majority of the race. Doesn't matter what we think, we are just spectators. Most of the drivers love it and if we were driving f1 cars around the track, so would we! The start and end to the race was great, the middle was a bit slow but it was worth the wait for the end, imagine if a red flag came out half way in the rac...

Teams could have weight taken off the car in quali so it goes 2-3 tenths quicker, do a hot lap and crash after on the way back to the pits with minor damage e.g front wing. then in the pits as the mechanic pretends to fix the car, he adds the weight back on using some heavy stuff that looks like it ...
