Re: Closed Cockpits Almost Here
I echo the posts above. If that thing takes a big whack, I'm sure it could potentially trap the driver inside. I know I'd rather be killed outright than be burned to death in the cockpit.

Re: Honda claims 223 bhp improvement for 2016
They may well have done, but that would still leave them behind the likes of Mercedes. And that's based on last year's figures. Who's to say the Ferrari and Mercs haven't added to their engine performance over winter? I'll hold my judgment until Melbourne I think.

Re: Refuelling could return in 2017
I for one would like to see the option of refuelling come back. As above, you don't have to go down that route but you can if you like. Would be good to see a slower car that's lighter compete with a quick car that tries not to stop for fuel etc.

Re: Button, stay or go?
He should go to Williams. I cant see that McLaren being any closer to the front come the end of the season. Who's to say next year will be any better when others hmove forward over the winter? At least at Williams, he will have a car capable of having some good racing. Williams would also give him t...

Trust with what? Or do you mean trust to give an honest answer when questioned?

Re: Four distinct tier in f1
I can't beleive just how far Mclaren have fallen since 2012/13.
They just seem to have completely lost their way of late.
The battle for p1 and p2 is already over, here's hoping there will be an epic battle for 3rd and 4th between two or three teams.

Re: Manor v Mclaren
You have to really wonder why they bother (Manor). It's not even like they have a team to race against (like Caterham) last year. Probably 5 or 6 seconds off the pace, and costing millions to do so.
Why bother?
Why bother?

Re: Massa questions Merc equality
It's understandable why the other teams are moaning, as they haven't a hope in hell of catching the Mercs but they need to just pipe down now. We've had nothing but whining since Q3. The other teams should just mind their own affairs and concentrate on improving their own cars. They will be hoping t...

Re: What Can Be Done for 2016?
I think before any regulations are changed to improve the racing (I thought last year was brilliant) we need to ensure F1 has a full grid. The finances need to be sorted and sorted ASAP, otherwise a starting grid of 15 cars will become the norm I'm afraid.. The need to stop giving the 'blue chip' te...

Re: How would you rate the 2015 Australian GP?
Hi, this is my first post (been a browser for years). Today's race was pretty dull. I genuinely can't believe how bad the Mclaren Honda is, given the time they have had, and how much Ferrari seem to have improved their engine! God knows how Renault have managed to make theirs worse than last year to...
