Perez had Telmex backing from the early days of his career, when he first started at Sauber who becomes their main sponsor ...you guessed it Telmex. so you could call them his rich Daddy. Stroll has won more Championships he has competed in than Perez, so why does Perez deserve to be in F1 more tha...

Re: McLaren could have blocked Sainz going to Ferrari

Tbh, I suspect Sainz is about the same (or near to) level as Ricciardo, but a suspicion that is still unproven. We know outside of Hamilton and Verstappen, Ricciardo is proven to be somewhere about the best in the grid. Operating close to the level the top guys are. I don't think McLaren are making...

Re: Renault re-branding to Alpine for next season!

In American NASCAR, Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota all have (at least one) premium car brand. Yet, they do not race cars branded Lincoln, Cadillac, or Lexus in NASCAR, because NASCAR fans do not buy any of these upmarket brands in any real numbers , while they buy tons of Fords, Chevrolets and Toyotas....

How either of you come to the conclusion the 740HP+ or 290Ft lbs of torque is gutless is beyond comprehension and suggests you don't know what you're talking about. The extremely short stroke or travel of an F1 engine's pistons means the torque is always going to be rather low compared to the HP rat...

Fantastic engines unlike the V8s. I really disagree with this. The V10's & 12's were certainly the absolute best sounding engines of all time, but the V8's sounded just as incredible in their own right and DID NOT sound bad at all. Different, but certainly not bad in any way. https://youtu.be/5jTTM...

Generally, sponsorship is given because of racing talent, though there may be other additional reasons for the backing; Stroll on the other hand has backing regardless of his talent. I think that's unfair on both Strolls. Senior is too good a businessman to waste his millions on a talentless son. A...

Re: POLL: Hamilton/Giovinazzi penalties

While the end result in this race was exciting, it was a bit of a farce in that Hamilton was too heavily penalized for such a minor infraction, but the penalty is given to the team and if you look at it that way, it befalls on them as a whole and they made the mistake. That said, I think a simple dr...

No. Sainz's McLaren suffered the EXACT same fate in the exact same way and they don't have DAS on their car. Looking at the footage closely, this is similar to how the world trade towers collapsed. BS… The tires weren't worn to the bare carcas at the point which they literally came apart at the seams. They had some blistering but that happens to tires in every racing series and you don't see them fall apart the way Pirelli tires do.

Pirelli simply stink at proper tire construction, period.
