Sky in particular with Brundle were very quick with judgement yesterday but I don't ever recall the same thing with any of the same 2021 instances. I lmean, rolling off the breaks and getting a...

Re: what happened to "leave a space"?

As said before, a bug bear of mine is keeping a bit of a car hanging on the outside and expecting space. The concept of space is a 2 way thing. The inside driver should give space when the outside driver has done enough to warrant it. However the outside driver also has a responsibility to give him...

That was an interesting and well written post. A good point, to be on track still at 35+ usually means you are at very least a multiple race winner and usually a world champion . So even if these drivers lose a couple of tenths they can usually still be upper midfield or even around top level. Don'...

The WDC is done. When the season has finished the gap will be small enough for everyone to know it's the one that got away from Norris and he will be gutted behind closed doors while Brown tells everyone how great is to win the WCC. Norris should be around equal points at this point tbh. I would sa...

I'm actually quite excited by this.

If Newey gets the '26 regs bang on, we've got RB, Ferrari, McLaren, Merc and now Aston Martin scrapping for wins (that's also dependent on the others getting it right as well though). Can only be good for the sport if that's the case.

Although you'd think that they would have discussed all possible scenarios in the briefing prior to the race. If not, then the blame for the fallout lies with the team.

Being champion in 1994 would have been hard for Senna but not impossible. Without Senna's death things play out differently and Schumacher doesn't end up DSQ'd from 25% of the season. I'm sure it was Hungary '94 where Schumacher allowed Verstappen to unlap himself, which led to Jos then passing an ailing Brundle for P3 on the last lap. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Senna to Williams. Personally I think blue flags should be banned. All - and I mean all - 20 drivers are technically in the same race (as in the driver in P20 is trying to catch the leader) so if the leader comes up behind last place he shouldn't get an automatic wave past. A mention to 1995 as well. Alesi's one and only win!

The race itself was a bit of a damp squib, apart from Coulthard spinning off early on and the Ferraris being better than Hill's Williams.

Alesi's ride on the back of Schumi's Benetton is iconic.
