Verstappen on Sainz. I believe it's lap 56 & 57 EUbrMzaOCuU Is Max at fault for both or does the blame for one cancel out the other??? Verstappen was driver of the day. No doubt. Ric didn't have any pressure from Vettel who was cruising to stay ahead of Ham.

Re: DHL Formula 1 Backstage Pass: Ferrari, Massa is out, Kim
Funny to see how many people only want "hard facts" and "zero speculation", but are hanging around on an internet forum. And when somebody has an information source like UPS guy, it's news value is up for discussion. Of course I'm looking for the facts as well, but I like speculation from people who...

I think the silly season is about to get started. Mark my words. In Monza, several announcements will be made. Starting by Ferrari.
Alonso had a big mouth about Ferrari by asking for another car as a birthday present, and no driver ever survived that kind of talks (Prost, Lauda, Barrichello, Irvine).

Flavio knows everything about F1. In terms of business. He was team manager of de Renault F1 team and he was the manager with exclusive rights of about half of the F1-grid. Webber, Alonso, Kovalainen, Trulli, Piquet etc. He was earning a lot of money on those contracts and besides that, he had the v...

Re: Was Schumacher actually and officially fired from Merced
Schumacher has clearly a motivation problem on these cars. Besides the whole concept of DRS, KERS and disreputable tires, the Mercedes is tyre eating soapbox. I still think that Schumacher was hired to develop the car, otherwise Brawn wouldn't have hired Rosberg first, and Schumacher second. I watch...

I guess I've been lucky because I've never had much trouble with my six Alfa's. I handle them with care, so I always let the engine warm up slowly. I check the oil and s...

Re: Alonso blames Raikkonen for 1st lap incident
Funny that people try to blame Kimi. He did absolutely nothing wrong. Alonso steers diagonally to the left, sees Kimi and steers left again. In the opposite direction of the ideal line which would be to the right at that point, so I can imagine Kimi doesn't expect this. It's 100% Alonso's fault and ...

I remember that he wanted to make an F1 movie, and like the others post in this thread, it became an Indycar movie. I've never managed to watched the whole movie and probably never will.
Isn't it Antonio Banderas who bought the rights for making an F1 movie about Senna?

... It is just very ridiculous. The much simpler and obvious explanation is that for a team like Sauber, P2 means a LOT and they just didn't want Perez taking unnecessary risks and binning it like he almost did when chasing down Alonso. They could have easily radioed him to maintain position if the...

Renault only had one way to achieve their wishes though, in that incident. They had to make Piquet crash. There was no other way to achieve it. Perez could have gifted Alonso the win in a load of different ways, each of them with less risk to him and his second place. Why an off-road excursion? Why...

ok, I want the conspiracy nuts to answer me this:- Assuming Perez was ordered to not overtake Alonso, why "pretend" to go off, when all you have to do is slow up a little? What a thread. Maldonado made a mistake in Melbourne. I think you don't need to explain a professional F1 driver not to do such things. Re: Ferrari team orders? ;)
I also think it was a teamorder. The exact message for Perez was: "Sergio, we really need this position. Be carefull." I think that we can agree on that that is not a quite natural message given the fact that Perez was at Alonso's tail driving 1.2 seconds a lap faster. Something like: "We can win th...

I wouldn't call it rarely. You can find a recap on Youtube. I think it's above average for someone who is for about two years in F1.

I think Schumi would have had a points finish if his gearbox didn't fail. I thought it stuck in 3rd gear (in stead of loosing just third).
