Exciting: 1999, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012
Good: 2005, 2009, 2010
Decent: 2001, 2011
Average: 2002, 2004
No boring seasons cause F1 is never boring, there's always something. Even 2004 had: Button's breakthrough, rise of Renault, probably the fastest F1 cars ever.

Of course it's not. Was there a year zero? Decade, century or millenium must have ten, hundred or thousand years. If 2000 is 21th century, then somewhere there's one century with 99 years. Anyway: Ferrari (can't look past them) Red Bull (based on last few years) McLaren (not enough titles but the am...

It's not just Hungary. Same applies to Canada, Monaco, Brazil, Melbourne and many other tracks.
Monza is the other way around, lap ends soon after Parabolica. Can't remember any others but I'm sure there are a few more.
It's track specific.

2012 - got to be Rosberg, he even stepped out of his car while others on track still couldn't get close 2011 - i'd say Hamilton in Korea since it was the only non-Red Bull pole, honorable mention to Button in Suzuka (couple of thousands down on Vettel's pole time) 2010 - back to back poles from Alon...

Standings don't tell the full story. Karthikeyan beat de la Rosa this season (thanks to 15th in Monaco) but he never finished ahead of Pedro when both finished. Probably same with Glock. His teammates just lucked into a good finishing position when there was high attrition and Glock retired as well.

1999 Brazil was the first race I recall watching. I got into it more during summer months when Irvine became the number one at Ferrari. then missed 2009 and 2010 but started watching again in 2011.

Webber was allowed to take points off Vettel this season. didn't stop Vettel from winning the title.
Even Massa will be allowed to challenge Alonso next season, if he does it from the word go. Not with 5 races to go and more than 100 points behind.

The only bad luck in my book is when you're taken out (like Hamilton and Alonso at Spa). When there's nothing the driver or the team can do about it. Of course you can qualify higher to get away from the likes of Grosjean but you can't outperform your car. And even if you do get pole, Grosjean can a...

Totally agree. But i guess Bernie and rulemakers want stories like yesterday. Everyone keeps saying how Red Bull's strategy got them a podium. It's not a strategy if others are not allowed to use it. Basically drivers are not punished for their mistakes in qualifying. Be it starting from 11th, 18th ...

The pace has always been there. He just needs a very good car. He is not Alonso or Hamilton who can drive a dog to podiums and victories. Despite being outqualified by McLarens, current Ferrari is better than it has been for most of the season. Beginning of 2009 kind of speaks against my theory but ...

Button was actually faster in Q2 than he was in Q3. His Q2 time was also faster than Hamilton's Q3 time. So he had the speed, probably made a mistake somewhere on the decisive lap.

Obviously it wasn't on purpose but it's very hard to prove. It took a year and a confession to punish Renault.

With only 10 minutes and two hot laps in the Q3, what stops drivers bringing out yellow flags on purpose and effectively ruin everyone's laps? Especially in the last seconds. Now I don't mean Schumacher's way in Monaco (2006), that was too obvious. It doesn't even have to be done by provisional pole...

Hopefully Hamilton and Raikkonen to bring themselves back into the mix. But honestly can't see Lotus improving much.
I think we'll finally see a Hamilton-Vettel-Alonso podium.
Button has been hampered by the penalty and Webber hasn't had a good race since Silverstone.

Button had a very poor spell from Spain to Silverstone. His grid positions were 10th, 12th, 10th, 9th and 16th. That's why the average is as low as 6.57. Now obviously that spell was mostly his fault. In the other 9 races, his worst starting position has been 6th, though. The average for them is 3.3...

There's a reason why only cars run around Monaco and Singapore.
He almost slowed his bike down but still could have been seriously injured. Such high speed corners need longer run-off areas.
