Re: Forum verdict on the Hamilton/Verstappen collision

Quite the boring and predictable comment, please tell me more about my history of team and driver preferences across the grid... What were my top 3 favourite teams in 2010, even better what is my favourite team? I don’t know and to be honest, I don’t care. The only thing that matters is that your o...

I bought tickets for Hockenheim and it also said Monaco on my bank statement, the tickets I’ve received are definitely for Hockenheim. I presume Monaco is where FOM are based

If bronze tickets are general admission then get there early to find somewhere decent to sit. Take the opportunity to walk the track after the race, Eau Rouge is steeeep

Bare in mind at spa that if/when it rains that the general admission areas at pouhon particularly get slippy and because they're steep, I'd recommend wearing grippy walking boots. Also get there early because the hill at pouhon is very popular. If you're in a group of 5-6 then you're probably best g...

I'm going to Monza as well, last went in 2010. Don't really have any tips other than look for a place to get onto the track from your seat for after the race, and take your wellies because it's knee-deep in Italian clunge.

Re: Which grand prix to attend?!

Spa is great. Much better than Silverstone and still an easy drive as its only about 3 hours from Calais. We drove to Austria this year and it is LONG drive, so is Monza which we did in 2010. Hockenheim is worth doing in 2016, it's better than the Nurburgring

Monza was the best I've been to. I think if I was to rank the ones I'd been to, it'd be: 1. Monza 2. Spa ('08 and '13) 3. Austria 4. Hockenheim 5. Nurburgring 6. Silverstone I really didn't think Silverstone was good compared with the continental races. Awful and expensive beer and food. Ticket pric...

With regards to Motorsport photography. I like to stand right next to the track and pan with a wide-angle lens, I think it gets you a kind of shot that you don't often see. The only issue is that very few tracks let you stand close enough and therefore the technique is still very much in experimenta...
