Re: Alonso and Button confirmed for 2015
Why is everyone taking it to heart about McLaren taking their time in choosing their line-up? Especially since the drivers are such an integral part of the success of the team no matter how good the car is. I'm glad they have taken their time rather than a knee jerk reaction (Perez in 2012). I feel ...

Re: Vettel to McLaren??
Mclaren should go for the other Redbull driver. He would be much cheaper than Vettel and is obviously on par if not better skill wise. Also me being Australian and a Mclaren fan doesn't hurt my personal agenda.

Picked Rosberg for win and Rosberg - Ricciardo 1-2. Over $200 from $15. Not bad at all.

Re: Which world champion has the strongest team mate for 201
If you go by the world champion's skill set then I'd say Button. Never impressed bar a few unbelievable great races here and there. Perez is almost matching him now and will beat him next year. Mclaren I believe are also with me on this path of thinking hence why the 1 year contract for the Button.

I totally agree with you Keith. Button reminds me of Webber. Brilliant every now and then, substandard most times. Some people get too loved up with the drivers they like and start making allowances for them.

Button/Perez A few strong 5th place finishes in 2013.Balibari wrote:Hakkinen/Senna and Hamilton/Alonso definitely deserve to be up there. And Karthikeyan/Monteiro, obviously.
What stands out so far is how many great lineups were at McLaren.

Re: What can Mclaren do over the next few years??
Red Bull have Vettel & Ricciardo (& NEWEY) Mercedes have Hamilton & Rosberg Ferrari have Alonso & Raikkonen Am I the only one that thinks Mclaren is in for a very rough few years, including this one with the lineup of Button & Perez. I think without a major car advantage they will struggle in the c...

I bought a C63 AMG Mercedes because they were with Mclaren. That and Hamilton got done doing a burnout in one in Melbourne.Bollard wrote:Answered all the last ones with strongly disagree.
I'd be astonished if F1 has made anyone buy a road car associated with a team.

That's one too many. I don't understand how any serious fan of F1 can complain about there being "too much racing" Agreed. I just don't get some people these days... :uhoh:  There's so many 3 week breaks this year, its obviously possible to fit in extra races. Hahaha some people make me la...

Re: Monaco Grand Prix - Drive Of the Day
Perez for giving us all something to watch despite the crazy way he drives...... Totally agree, besides one stupid mistake was most exciting to watch and at least he had a go. But that 1 solitary mistake was enough to wash out all of his efforts in the race. Sutil, Di Resta & Button even made their...

Re: McLaren has bought Cosworth rumour
Just a thought. Mclaren buy Cosworth and still use the Merc engine for next year and however long they need. Once they acquire the new Merc engine can't they pull it apart and start being 'inspired' with the design to create their own engine? Sort of like what the Chinese have been doing for years. ...

Whilst I agree the ferrari is looking much better than the start of last season, it is just testing. Massa himself has said that he thinks Button's lap is 'incredible' as it was set on a green track with hard tires. It is fun to get excited about things like fastest laps in testing, however look at ...

As someone who lives in SA I couldn't be happier about F1 returning to its rightful live spot on ONE HD. Still baffles me why Ten aren't showing it on ONE HD in the eastern states.

Re: Team Fan or Driver Fan?
Definately a team supporter. What I don't understand is lets say you follow a sporting team in football and you have a favourite player. If that player moves teams do you follow your support to the new team? People seem to forget F1 is a team sport. Hamilton, Alonso etc.. don't design the cars nor b...

Beautiful car and good on Mclaren for sticking to their guns with no stepped nose. Good to see them being individuals. It will be a very competitive car.
