The racing is tight, the cars are interesting tech, weekends are short, the atmosphere seems relaxed and the calender doesn't really prevent other commitments. I'm not at all surprised that drivers are keen on the series.

Don't really see the point of bumping this thread. Sure, Roserg lost a few seconds to Hamilton while navigating the same traffic, but he got called in sooner than he perhaps should have been. Merc seems to employ pit stop calls as way to prevent on-track conflicts between their drivers.

Sadly, I don't think F1 will ever consider Ground Effects again because its too easy for teams to design amazing systems that would generate levels of downforce never before seen and the cars could potentially be ripping about at unthinkable speeds, thereby increasing the risk factor just that much...
