Button a comfortable 3rd/4th.

Re: How important are the aesthetics of F1
Well, nowadays when they try to extract 0.00012457785 seconds from the tiniest curve, I'm guessing the aesthetics is a big fat zero for a team.

Well, honestly, I still criticize the move. Whilst McLaren have been a title contender like...always, Mercedes have still to prove themselves as a true-blue contender. Sure, two good races, but we'll see how they progress. Of course, I could be wrong, but I'm still not convinced it was the best choi...

I'll get on the wagon too... Vettel - seems spoiled and "in-your-face". Ok, ok, we know you won, no need to poke our eyes out afterwards. I'll be really happy when he'll have a midfield season, to see if he can grow some humility. Alonso, for the tons of reasons given by the previous posters. Not ve...

Re: Imagine driver in the team to swap cars after every race
And, if I remember correctly, we had up until recent years some similar situation, with one driver taking the other's car. I'm referring of course to the spare car (il muletto, as the Italians say it) which usually was prepared (set-up) in one race weekend for one of the 2 drivers. However, if the o...

Webber did race like a real man in the past, and I'm strongly inclined to think he'll do even more that in the next races. There are other drivers which need to ask themselves the questions in regards of the sissy/real man racing. As for the topic question -bad idea from a manager's point of view. W...

Re: Will Mark now cost Seb more than 7 points over this seas
To answer the topic question...yes. If Webber will be out of the WDC game (and will consider retirement) I don't think he would mind very much getting passed by Alonso. He can fake a slide/exit car on grass as well as the next guy, I suppose. RBR will have to pull out the 2014 contract carrot fairly...

Ehm, it will come soon enough. In the recent years, WDC's have been rather young newcommers, at least this is what I deduce from the charts: 2005 Alonso 24 years old 2006 Alonso 25 years old 2007 Raikkonen 28 years old 2008 Hamilton 23 years old 2009 Button 29 years old 2010 Vettel 23 years old 2011...

I don't think it's only the Bottas factor which matters, it looks like the car itself is a dog...Maldonado's not exactly impressive either. Actually, 2 races in the season, looking at the blunders list, I could swear Maldonado is the rookie. And besides, with the shakedowns going on at Williams thes...

Kind of disagree about the "no-one wins" bit. Suppose Vettel would have respected the team orders and did not pass Webber. Then, instead of one puppet team (Mercedes, sorry for saying it but that's the way it looked in this race) we would have had 2 puppet teams in the same race. (probably there wer...

Well, then, let's throw those days out the window, shall we? Let's design a standard fuel tank for all cars, with the same capacity. Let's fuel the cars 100% at the start of each race. This way, the cars which will drive faster>>consume more fuel>>getting lighter by the end of the race>>be faster st...

Re: Will Mark now cost Seb more than 7 points over this seas
I would agree that the Australian is no big concern for Vettel in his title lead. Somehow, even with this big masquerade party we had last week, I think the team will still favor Vettel. He's the one with 3WDC's. Mark - none WDCs. And, if Webber will really insist into bringing a solid opposition to...
