Re: Rosberg Vs Hamilton Spanish gp crash. The debate

http://i.imgur.com/X8pdrvr.png This pic sums it all up. Hamilton has been racing open-wheelers for, what, 25 years? Someone with that much experience knows that gap is ALWAYS going to close. Every single time. Hamilton hung his balls out and took a risk, and I admire him for that. But the smart dec...

Re: Jenson Button's future

I don't think the 3 car thing is happening. There's an interesting article over at Pitpass that proposes that it might actually be Alonso that's holding things up. That basically the Honda's not looking good at all and Alonso would rather take a year out. :uhoh:

Re: Jenson Button's future

This is really unfortunate. From what I can tell, this is all somehow connected to Dennis' quest to buy more of the McLaren Group and give him majority ownership. What I don't understand it how Danish sponsorship gives HIM any money. I mean, who does he think he is, Ecclestone? So maybe my hunch is ...

If they don't rate Button and they didn't rate Perez, surely they can't rate K Mag. But they've put all this money into him through their young driver program and to simply discard him after 1 season wouldn't look that great.
It's obviously a pretty complex situation.

Will the info actually be visible for people at the track? Even without the glare of the sun, it's going to be fairly small. If you're sitting close to the track you've got the catch fencing, and if you're on a hill you're a fair distance away. For TV, the images are moving so fast and the cameras a...

Agree with the comments about Mag. He hasn't been that convincing and I honestly think that his aggressive style might lose him more points then it collects. It really depends on where the McLaren car is, though. If it's right up the front, it might not be all that bad. In the midfield, it's risky. ...

Not really a surprise. Mattiacci doesn't seem comfortable in the position and he probably knows he's not the right man for the job. He was, after all, effectively TOLD to do the job. It's not something he aspired to. All the best to him.

Yeah I just had a look back at the podium stuff. You can't see Hamilton do anything that would make hims swear. The bottle is definitely the 1st Place bottle, too. So Hamilton didn't run off with his champagne or anything.

As a Ricciardo fan, my top 3 overtakes this year are: 1. Ricciardo on Perez in Canada, which effectively netted him his first win. 2. Ricciardo on Vettel in Bahrain, to make a very big statement indeed. 3. Ricciardo on Vettel at Monza. I think people underestimate the degree of difficulty on that mo...

In any case, I thought it was kinda disrespectful of Mansell to talk over Vettel. Like, completely talk over the top of him like what he was saying was irrelevant. I'm not some Vettel fanboy, either.
