Re: Pirelli Tyres or Bernie's Artificial Rain?
or a back marker who moves through the field to the end because he got 25 brand new sets of tyres. Has this ever happened? The only guys I remember having driven up the field from the back with fresh tyres are guys from the top teams. Anything less and your tyres get chewed up trying to overtake th...

Re: Pirelli Tyres or Bernie's Artificial Rain?
Bernie is not daft enough (yet) to have been serious about the artificial rain.
Which leaves the tyres, which should not be the sole point of interest in a race & currently are. So that needs changing. Perhaps Bernie can arrange some rain on Paul Hembrey until such time as he comes to his senses.

I'm trying to think of an Alonso teammate that's been a genuine threat to his superiority in the team aprt from Hamilton that is.

Re: Tyres too demagable / delicate?
Yes the tyres are damaging the sport - I don't want to watch an F1 that's so heavily based around tyre performance. This is no Pirelli's fault, they are simply doing what any other competent monoplist would do, ie maximise their media exposure. The only way to rectify this is to open F1 up to altern...

Perhaps Blake would be kind enough to post a few links for us that show how well Alonso & Hamilton get on with each other.

Anonymous VS F1
Not sure if this thread should be incorporated in some other Bahrain thread or not - I'll leave that to the mods. The point is that the hacker group anonymous is threatening to destroy Bernie's website (Formula1.com) - at least according to reports in the German media. Anybody brave enough to go & l...

Looks to me like Dr Marko is more interested in seeing his name in the press than he is in the content of his utterings.

Re: Bernie considering "Grand Slam" races with more points
I suspect Bernie has a cunning plan to charge the promoters more for a Grand Slam race than he charges for a normal race.
Still, at least the promoters can pass the extra cost onto the fans eh? 's not like thy have better things to do with their cash now is it?

I was heartly sick of him & his misadministration of the sport & was convinced that Mosely would be an improvement.

There's one chap with a history of running a successful team and whose current job must be winding down now. Ron Dennis to Ferrari? Re: Ferrari need to get rid of Massa, sooner rather than lat
Scrap Massa. Replace with Adrian Sutil. Not a great idea, irrespective of his talent etc he's not going to get a visa for many F1 countries as a man currently doing an 18 month suspended sentence. As for the last time Fezza sacked a driver before the season was finisehed, yeah that was Alain Prost....

Re: Bernie spouting off again
If you want to save costs something radical is required - how about allowing only 1 chassis/engine combination? Say, Ferrari, for example. This would ensure good, close racing. Ok, so all those working in the production/testing/design/research depts of all other F1 teams would lose their jobs but he...
