Re: The Official Lewis Hamilton thread
Can't wait for Hamilton to jump in the Mercedes, definition of an exciting F1 race is making Lewis start from the middle of the pack and smash his way through.

Re: Ferrari Brazil Appeal Uberthread
No, the pit lane exit is controlled way before that by traffic lights and marshal post. With that logic a car exiting the pits would be allowed to overtake but those already on track would not be able to. Aye but the marshal tower really isn't that far down the pitlane it is in the pitlane, but I c...

I'm glad people are starting an actual discussion, instead of slagging each other off for not posting links and evidence. The Senna/Prost era only became an era because of all the external happenings outside of the racing, if not it would have been mind numbingly boring with just 2 drivers dominatin...

No not at all, never. He should take his integrity over everything else. Not that I'd ever get to be in f1 in my life, but I would much rather leave the sport with one championship and be remembered as the man who never gave an inch and as the most intense RACER the world had seen. If he finishes top 3 this year then definitely, people go on about his silly driving sometimes but I think people forget he was 21(?) when he started, I'm 20 this year no way I could handle A) An F1 car or B) A freakin' championship battle like 2010

What has always made motorsport exciting: Danger. Or at least perceived danger overtaking through Eau Rouge was incredible because of the perceived danger, just the speed of the cars dangerous. Everything else comes from the danger, the drama all that is derived from it.

Difficult not to support Hamilton foolish, arrogant but super-fast and brave. The Whole F1 Is "Ruined" Argument.
It seems lately there has been a trend for people to argue that with Pirelli's, DRS, KERS, the engine freeze, qualifying, TOO MUCH overtaking and fewer limits being pushed; that the sport is going to the dogs. Not only does it all read like an F1 Daily Mail article, however I would argue this is the...

This is genuinely a good idea either qualify on hards and race on softs all race and drive like fairy cakes off a stick, with a load of stops OR qualy on softs and try and eek out the hards with fewer stops. Gives the option to the drivers to push hard or nurse the tires. Clever Pirelli for once?
