Re: 2024 Miami Grand Prix FP & Qualy/Sprint Thread
It's ridiculous how cars can just park in the pit lane. Hard to know what else they can do. What's to stop someone just not moving at all, can they drive past? I don't know. As I said, it's hard to know how else they can find a gap to do there lap in given they aren't allowed to sort it out on trac...

Maybe a controversial view but whilst Miami's layout is boring to watch cars navigate it does give opportunities for good battles and it's great that overtaking is possible but very difficult.

Just seen turn 1 incident for the first time and for all the condemnation of Hamilton I don't see what he does massively wrong, alonsos already hitting stroll before Hamilton is anywhere near them and there's space up the inside which he uses. Norris unlucky but it is the risk of taking the outside...

This is why Comas did what he probably did that day: 1786129352263938520 But he didn't actually do anything that day. Perhaps watch the video then share your opinion. So Hamilton gets a drive through penalty for speeding in the pitlane while KMag gets penalised less for breaking the rules 3 times, 3 useless 10 second penalties which he doesn't care about. He was given a black and white warning flag which normally means stop it or next time you get a black flag, ...

Leclerc could have 100% competed with Verstappen into turn 1 at the start of the race but he decided to finish second instead. The respect I have for the grid diminishes almost every race at this point.

There was only 17 races in 2020, Hamilton missed one race because of Covid and clearly still not fully recovered when he drove the last race of the season, he was slower than Bottas a driver he had been quicker than all season. Re: Is Hamilton ruining Max’s legacy?
I don't understand why the idea of Hamilton declining is so difficult to stomach for some. He's not an alien. He's subject to ageing just like anybody else and almost all drivers decline as they head into their late 30s let alone 40s. The fact that he can be seen to have declined and yet still be as...

Mercedes didn't have a dominant car in 2019 certainly not against the illegally engined Ferrari, if they had not cheated then Hamilton would have won far more races. In 2020 he won 11 out of the 16 races he competed in, the final race he clearly hadn't fully recovered from Covid. Ratchet that up to...

Your feelings are incorrect. Lewis won Spain in 2021, in part because they had a better strategy than RB, they pitted Lewis for fresh tires late in the race and he caught back up and passed Max. Yep, both teams messed up pitstops in Monza. RB messed up a pitstop in COTA 2022, made Max's job a lot m...

Not that russell was much better today, but this year, Hamilton certainly isn't even looking close to being a top level driver any more. Hamilton won 22 races out of 37 race finishes from 2019-2020 despite driving by far the best car in this time period, and having a midfield driver as his teammate. He also had bulletproof reliability and his car never failed in even one qualifying session to compromise his weekend. In these perfect...

I really disagree with this downtalking of Red Bull. They are doing a sensational job, probably the best overall team performance in F1 history. The fact that a midfield driver like Perez, driving his arguably worst F1 season driving-wise and still winning vice-wdc with some races to spare provides...
