Re: 2025 Dutch Grand Prix Race Thread
Whilst I thought the penalty was ridiculous it did appear to be in line with the terrible racing rules guidelines so I'm surprised. I'm also surprised that the FIA are willing to overlook there usual procedure in order to void the penalty points. Surely this will increase appeals in future.

Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
I thought it would take a couple DNFs (or double DNFs) to make this incredibly unlikely scenario possible, but all it takes is for Red Bull to have given Max the best car on the grid, Max to rattle off 9 straight wins (plus three sprints), one DNF from Oscar (McLaren owe him one to make it fair to ...

I'm not saying you're wrong about Horner being the one to build the environment that's capable of doing the recovery. This was just one (quite special) race though, let's wait and see if there is any kind of pattern emerging. Yeah, I think it will be a very intriguing finish to the season for Red B...

Bortoleto and Hadjar look, at this moment, the pick of the rookies imo. I think we are far enough along now to start forming more solid opinions. Antonelli isnt the next coming of Hamilton. I voted for Max but Albon and Hadjar did great as well. It is amazing how Albon finds a way to score points and Sainz was unlucky again with Bearman hitting him, they both should have been ahead of Hadjar and Sainz should have got a point without that incident. Sainz was also very close to getting ...

There seems to be a lot going around that that was the fastest lap by Verstappen in F1 history, not mentioning that it is the fastest lap at this circuit. Do they mean this or not? Imo, thee best case scenario for Norris here would be getting the worst start out of the top 3 & which would then make Piastri & Verstappen fight it out. If they clash or are aggressive enough with each other to ruin their tyres, Norris could benefit from this. Anyway, it seems Verstappen's top spe...

Re: 2025 Italian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Thread
The Italian GP is probably the one where the driver makes least difference. Often see the cars side by side on the grid with not too much between teammates. I wouldn't say that the driver makes the least difference, but we see other cars and perhaps other drivers coming to the fore. That is not une...

Sure, it's the best way for Antonelli. But is it good for F1? He's already ruined the races of multiple drivers from other teams.
