Re: why few days of testing so much important???????????????

What we see at testing is literally the tip of the iceberg. I literally hate it when people have literally no idea what "literally" literally means. :uhoh: But still, thanks for the insightful post. :-P I believe my wording was accurate and in the choice of words. At the track there may be 30 to 50...

Re: Which are faster champ cars or f1

things things Yes but in some formulas it is more prevalent than others. IIRC because of the ground effect and skinny wings it doesn't affect Indy on ovals as much as it would on a F1 car with a similar levels as downforce. Sorry, it sounded like you were implying that only F1 cars have that issue....

Re: Which are faster champ cars or f1

Heres a thing though if F1 was to race at an oval like the Indy. Would they be able due to the dirty air F1 cars produce? If you think about it the dirty air even in low downforce trim affects the cars behind. On an oval you need to slipstream to overtake. with the dirty air you would never be able...

My point is that driving under the influence is a bigger killer yet pro-guns are the villains. 52 million gun owning households and 9146 deaths Vs 1.4 million under the influence and 10228 deaths. You miss the point, if someone was pro-drink driving, they would be the villains too, in fact drink dr...

Re: Which are faster champ cars or f1

I think the argument is they can't be set up for it without deviating from F1 rules, Indy uses ground effects which lets them get the skinny wings and still grip. If you reduced the downforce on an f1 car to get the speeds they would simply not make the corners. Remember in '06 some couldn't handle...
